Waterfront vacation rentals in Lake Champlain

a very nice and quiet place for me and my friends to relax! the river was sooo beautiful townake up to in the morning and we all made some s'mores by the campfire! right next to a nice restaurant and a Stewart's so we could even get everything we needed for the fire! would come back here again and thanks for letting us stay!

We had the most fantastic stay with Sheila and Jeremy! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Sheila was a proactive and responsive communicator. But what stood out to us more than anything were the various thoughtful touches provided during our stay. We arrived late, after a long drive, and Sheila and Jeremy were there to meet us in person and help carry our bags inside. They had fresh muffins waiting and even left some snacks (cheese, crackers, grapes) in the fridge in case we hadn’t eaten dinner. They also provided coffee, tea, milk, honey, which was great in the mornings, and we so appreciated having access to the washer & dryer to do some laundry. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about our stay and we hope to return!

Loved staying with Sandra and Jason! They are great hosts and did a great job on the Airbnb. We knew there were going to be mosquitoes, but we didn’t know that there were going to be so many, I would advise bringing bug spray. They let us use their kayaks which was an awesome experience. 10/10 would stay again.

Ideal, beautiful location for visiting Middlebury and this gorgeous region of Vermont. The setting by the river is stunning and soothing. The unit is very comfortable and has everything you need. The host is gracious and welcoming. We feel so fortunate to have found this lovely location!

Would highly recommend this space for visiting Burlington! It was just a few minutes walk away from Church Street and/or the waterfront. We appreciated the short walk back from the comedy club at night and waking up and walking around the corner for breakfast at a local bakery. The free park was a big perk especially with all the downtown construction. The space was clean and quiet, despite being right near the bustling downtown. The bed was so comfortable after a long day of activities. I slept like a baby! Will definitely stay here next time we are visiting the area!

We stayed for a month and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Looked just like the pics (even better actually) and was squeaky clean! June was super responsive and very friendly / knowledgeable about where to go. SO MUCH to do in the area! Her place is walkable to just about everywhere nearby - safe and super quiet. Bed was super comfy and shower was awesome! Kitchen had everything we needed and the washer dryer unit is a powerhouse. The back yard views of the lake are to die for! We brought our bikes and rode the trails all over. Do the causeway if you have bikes (or rent them). June’s guide is chock full of amazing suggestions and she responds quickly with questions. LOVED OUR STAY! Thanks June!!

My daughter and I had such a nice stay here! The room was beautiful, a d pieceful. It was very close to the Shelburn museum. The trail right behind the house was delightful, we had a nice morning walk. We would love to visit here again!

Wonderful peaceful spot! Flowing River in the back of the house and beautiful lake and mountains in the front across the street. Kayaks & paddleboat available but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use them this time but I will be back! Thanks Doc!

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Tyler was a great host! Place was great. Plenty of space, clean and as described. Awesome MDW getaway. Close to Stowe and within an hour of Burlington. Hot tub and fire pit were bonus. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The property is beautiful and private but close to anything that you might need. The kitchen was super well stocked, beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the firewood supply. Nikki & Topher were great hosts - extremely responsive to all questions we had and proactive about check in/check out instructions. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and we loved being right by the lake as well as the sauna, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The house was cozy and the little kids toy closet was such a cute touch. We had an amazing time on our family vacation and would definitely recommend this rental. Ash was also so communicative and ready to help if we ever needed anything. So thankful!

The property was exactly as described in a beautiful setting right on the river. The cabin was spectacular and well appointed and situated so close to town it was perfect for our stay. We will come again.

Nicholas’s place was great, about 15 minutes from Jay. The house was very clean and everything was well explained. We had a great time and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Camp Moonshadow, where we met our daughter, who came over from Burlington to spend the weekend with us. It was a very easy ferry drive and short drive for her. It was exactly what we needed - quiet, comfortable and beautiful. We did the short hikes nearby and we cooked in all meals. Kitchen was an absolute joy to cook in - large and open and providing most of what we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit on one of the nights - roasting marshmallows and catching up. Coffee on the patio in the mornings was lovely. Bedrooms were comfortable, and bathrooms squeaky clean and expansive. Host Steven got back to me regarding a few hours early on checkin - much appreciated. This is a quiet neighborhood, and perfect for a restful respite.

We LOVED our stay here! The lake is so peaceful and the house has the perfect view. Andrew was very helpful and accommodating and we would highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I stayed in National at 1854 House and we loved it! It was exactly as described, and Sarah was a terrific host. Everything was very clean, she was quick to respond, left detailed instructions about all the unit had to offer, and even gave us some local recommendations. The bed was comfortable, the view was great, and the swing in the living room was a wonderful extra touch. The location was perfect for exploring all of northern Vermont. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We would absolutely stay in National again. Definitely recommend!

Loved staying at Jake's place. It was so easy to get around and the accomodations were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice stay at Vanessa's. Everything was clean and functional. We liked to have an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the marina and watch the sunset in the swings by the lake. A relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. Walking distance to the city and grocery store. We'll be back.

Everything was perfect! Very clean! The host really cares about our comfort. He immediately offered to open the heat pump when we hadn't even complained about the heat! It is possible to cross the bridge to Vieux St-Jean on foot where there are a variety of restaurants and activities to do. I highly recommend it!

We’ve stayed at several condos in the same area. This was definitely our favorite. It was both pristine and cozy. We definitely hope to stay here again.

They condo was one of the best 3 we have ever stayed in. We loved and appreciated all the little touches. We were extremely grateful for the wine, chocolates, cookies...it was nice to discover this after our drive. The condo was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and it truly is a home away from home. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and didn't want to leave yet! It's a nice 1/2 mile walk to the lake and ice cream:). Restaurants, grocery store and other retail is about a 1 mile walk. We absolutely loved the location. We hope to be back again.

Nicest bnb we have stayed at in placid! We had the grounds to ourselves and enjoyed sitting by the lake the first night before it rained the rest of the weekend. The place was cozy and the fireplace was nice for the rainy days. I appreciated the snacks and drinks in the room too!

I love this place, pick it always when available, great localization and fits my needs when traveling to Sherbrooke.
