Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Bunyonyi

Excellent place, they took our dinner orders ahead of time and had it waiting for us, very very accomodating for our three dogs that traveled with us, fantatsic views, very quiet at night. Only challenge is maps doesnt accurately direct you from the road, but Peace was able to guide us over the phone easily.

This is a really perfect spot if you want to check out Volcanoes National Park without breaking the bank. There can be a real lack of affordable accommodation for tourists in the area and this, as a two-bedroom house with small communal room and secure parking, is absolutely perfect. Saved us a fortune, and it was nice to get back from a rainy day's trekking and have that space to unwind in. Janvier and Anne-Marie really went out of their way, even helping us to order take-out from a local restaurant when we didn't feel like going out. They helped explain the route to the park entrance as we were off to see the golden monkeys. And there were lots of little touches in the house, like biscuits, a hairdryer, shampoo - anything you might have forgotten to bring. They were also very flexible about check out. Really so glad we decided to give it a try, and planning to go back as it's just down the road from Crema coffee shop which is the pick-up spot for canoeing Mukungwa River.

Huge crush on this place where we felt right at home for three days! Ideal for chilling and enjoying the lake and its activities (tree climbing, boat ride, paddle) We really liked the fact that it was lost in the middle of nowhere but actually, as mentioned in the listing, plan something to eat because everything is there to cook on site. Possibility on Monday and Thursday to send a boat to the market on another island to find some vegetables... Kakuru, the neighbor is very kind and helpful with all the logistics (welcome on arrival, calling boats to move, walk on the hills). Really, thank you again Kakuru☺️ Be careful, however, of people who are particular about cleanliness. It's not dirty at all but it's a country house so there are spiders and little critters. There's also no hot water but it didn't really bother us because we heated the water

This is cozy house with huge and beautiful garden. We really enjoyed walking gardens in the morning.

We felt like home all the time! The staff was extraordinarily friendly! We never had so many nice conversations since travelling through countries. The experiences we made were amazing. The Karungi-Camp Team will fulfill all your dreams. We had the chance to go to an international wedding, join a soccer match, hike though the area, get to know alot of the village and be a part of it. Thank you so much! It was a real pleasure to spend time at Jörn's place. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and professional staff, which immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. A beautiful place in the heart of an agricultural cooperative. Nice garden dotted with unit. A good breakfast on the chairs to the songs of the birds with our host:-)
