We enjoyed our 2 night stay here! Close proximity to the water, was walked behind our cottage and were there. Beautiful views. Quiet and more private than you would think. The Lounge area they have was a blast as well. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect place to escape to for a peaceful wooded retreat! Excellent and communicative hosts along with a clean space. The place was fully stocked with plenty for kids to do especially the clean hot tub. A great destination!

True hidden gem! I am almost afraid to say how wonderful this cabin is so that it doesn't get booked up! Beautiful home and excellent property with peaceful views. I wanted to find a quiet place to relax for a few days with my husband and Alison's property was perfect. We relaxed on the porch, on the deck, the patio and in the home on the comfy couch. Decorations were ideal. Super clean and everything well appointed. We will be coming back again for sure!

The Highwall cabin was absolutely stunning from the moment we pulled up, from the beautiful grounds to the attention to detail of every aspect of the cabin. It has breathtaking views, quiet, peaceful, and lots of wildlife which was awesome to watch off the top deck in the mornings and evening. The hot tub was so relaxing as we winded down our evenings, it even has a bluetooth speaker system so you can enjoy your tunes. Ron was so attentive and quick to respond on any questions we may have had before our arrival and during our stay. They even had a welcome batch of everything you needed to make s'mores by their fire pit down by the lake. What a wonderful unexpected treat! Our family had the most memorable time together at the Highwall and we would 150% come back but next time hopefully a little longer. Thank you, Ron & Jackie for hosting us!!!

We are a repeat customer. We fell in love with Parkside Cottages 4 years ago. The price is fair, the upgraded amenities are beautiful, fun, and well placed. The hot tub was new since we were there last and it was a perfect relaxing surprise. We love we are able to bring our fur babies, as they are family too. The water is basically in your backyard which makes for nice bike riding or walking needs plus close access to drop your kayak in the water. Our stay was wonderful, with fast responses with any questions we had. We are already planning our next stay!

The cabin and deck was beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and even briefly saw a bear from the deck before he disappeared into the woods. We didn't use the fire ring due to rainy weather, but still had a good time.

We had a great stay on the property and would definitely recommend the experience to friends!!!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It was the perfect spot for a family get together. We all had our own rooms, and there was plenty of space in the common areas to gather. What I loved was how many little "nooks" there were so one could curl up and relax while still feeling part of it all. The outside fire-pit was perfect and the game room was so much fun. Tracey was a wonderful host- answering questions promptly, and even accommodating a schedule change for us. We felt right at home. The area of Foxburg is beautiful. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay- this is it! There is a lot to do in this area if you love nature. Hiking trails, biking paths, the Allegheny river, and so on. There are some cute restaurants right on the river to eat at as well. You will not be disappointed with this cabin or Foxburg. I highly recommend! Thank you Tracey!

Such a beautiful cabin!! It was so beyond peaceful and private. The host were so helpful when needed and provided great instructions. We had a wonderful 1 night stay for my bachelorette party!! We all felt the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well kept. The bathrooms are gorgeous! The basement is spacious and so clean and decorative! Definitely recommend!

Cabin was the perfect mix of rustic ascetic with modern comfort ( a/c kept up well, on a 90 degree day). Property is heavily, forested. The creek running, right outside the cabin, is very beautiful. Host and staff were always available by phone, and on site.

We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was a perfect place to stay for our family. The cabin is a beautiful and tranquil place to spend. Overlooking the horses and fountains are such a wonderful sight. Richard was a gem of a host and extremely helpful.

Beautiful location! Serene, next to the river, and great for pups. They were communicative and had every amenity ready. Great spot to get away and enjoy nature!

Our stay was more than I could have asked for. I was looking for a nice place, not too far to travel & relaxing. The cottage is lovely. It’s beautifully decorated inside & out. The sound of the creek is soothing. Although it’s only an hour from home I felt far & removed from home. We met Jason and he’s very kind and friendly. I will definitely plan a return trip.

Cabin was super clean and had many essentials that were helpful and efficient. It was wonderful to have good wifi and a TV in each room! We had a wonderful time and will defiently be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a peaceful and memorable weekend. We especially appreciated the firewood being provided—it made enjoying the outdoor space so easy, especially since we were traveling in. The record player and games were such a fun touch, and the five of us had plenty of room to relax, laugh, and create great memories. The host was fantastic with communication—very responsive, shared their cell numbers in case we needed anything, and was open to feedback at the end of our stay to help improve the experience for future guests. We had a good stay at the cabin. Everything was very clean and located in a nice neighborhood. We had everything that we needed and great communication from the host. The only drawbacks were that the steps are rather steep and narrow, the shower is not mounted on the wall and there was a slight musty smell and damp feel to the cabin. This was probably due to the non stop torrential rain that we've been having for weeks now. Overall a good stay and we would stay there again.

This house exceeded expectations! The pictures do not do the beauty of the surrounding land justice. The inside is perfect. There were 3 (our 4th had an emergency) of us and it was just the right size. Everything was clean and the set up in the house was good. I am from suburbia and slept upstairs. I was a little taken aback that there were no curtains, but there were no neighbors!!! We got to watch the baby groundhogs and beavers play along with the turtles, geese, herons and other birds. We did spot some deer, but they kept hidden. I hope to return next year!!! Thank You Carol for everything

Great communicator, very nice place. Water supply to the house was great for our group of 6. We loved the close proximity to fishing. The kitchen had everything we needed!

Whenever I travel, I make sure to book somewhere that reminds me of home. Timothy’s property is remote and peaceful, he and his wife are extremely friendly/helpful, and they make visiting such a joy. I definitely plan on booking again any time I come to town to visit old friends. What relaxation!

The cabin gave off an immediately peaceful and relaxing vibe- beautiful decor, immaculately clean, good lighting, comfortable furniture, and upscale touches. The cabin fully takes advantage of the beautiful river views, with the loft bed, living room, deck, and lower fire pit areas all looking out on the river. Even though we only stayed two nights and our full day was very rainy, we were able to get cozy during the rain and even enjoy the outdoor air with coffee on the covered deck. The kitchen had great cookware and was very clean. The loft and ladder is super cool, but be aware the ladder is steep and high! My 8 year old especially loved going up and down. The hosts were very responsive and generous with a late check out. We also enjoyed the area- Penn state creamery ice cream in Emlenton and a fun family riverside bike ride and nice looking restaurants we’d love to visit another time in Foxburg. Recommend this place to even a discerning traveler.

Very peaceful setting. Very clean. Exactly like pictures. Was a great tranquil home to return to after hectic days at a nearby festival. Would stay again.

Fantastic attention to detail; beautiful decking; Slippery Rock Creek access was wild and lovely. Cabin well soundproofed from the adjoining highway.
