Our house is a semidetached house in a condominium of 17 buildings, called Lagoon Ocean Resort . This is no typical resort with a reception, guest entertainment and so on. It is a quiet retreat, with access only for residents and guests. You find a parking for your car and a swimming pool with shower, deckchairs and a typical palapa that offers shade. This is all in a well-maintained compound with blossoming plants. Nearby are the sandy beach and two retaurants /bars with affordable prices.

The terrace of this house is worth every dollar spent. You're right on the ocean and you can dive into the water from your own ladder. Tereza is very friendly, she answers your questions immediately and solves any problem that may arise. The house is comfortable and well equipped. A key location for visiting the beaches on the east side of the island. You can walk to Lagun Beach and Jeremi Beach, it doesn't take more than 10 minutes. There's a grocery store two steps away where you can buy last-minute items. We would definitely come back.

absolutely beautiful- large deck overlooking the sea, a staircase in the cliffside down to the water, everything open to the air. there are two restaurants, two convenience stores, and one beach (Playa Lagun) within walking distance. the area is mostly quiet and residential, perfect for a relaxing getaway to just enjoy the caribbean. the restaurants had great food, people were very friendly, and we enjoyed lovely sunsets every night. overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this stay to anyone looking for an outdoor, authentic caribbean experience. the wind was strong the whole time we were there, which did create some noise in the night. the mattress is also VERY firm. a rental car is needed if you want to go anywhere else.

When we arrived, Bart was at the house to provide a brief orientation, answer any questions we had, and encourage us to send him any other questions that might arise during our stay - to which he always replied within several hours. The house is as it appears in the listing photos: well-designed, well-constructed, and well-maintained. The patio with stairs/ladder to the sea make this a special place, as does the proximity to Lagun, Jerimi, and Kleine Knip beaches to snorkel and relax. Thank you, Bart and Genève, for giving us the chance to explore Curacao from your beautiful home.

The best decision was to stay at Ellemieke's apartment!!! Beautiful place, it's much nicer than the photos, very comfortable, very clean and very safe. Lagun beach is one staircase away and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Curaçao! The best thing is that Ellemieke let us leave at the time we wanted, she was flexible with the departure, we took advantage of the last minute. Totally recommended, I would pay for it again when I return to Curacao.

The apartment is simply wonderful! Every day we could enjoy the sunset directly from the backyard — an unforgettable experience. Direct access to the sea, for me, is the highlight of the accommodation: a feeling of freedom and connection with nature that really transforms the trip. The location is also excellent, a few minutes' drive from the main beaches of Curaçao. Tereza and Raul were amazing hosts and went to great lengths to make our stay perfect. Thanks so much for the affection and welcome! Curaçao is a charming island, and Raul's apartment is undoubtedly an attraction in itself. When I return to the island, I will certainly stay here again. I recommend it with my eyes closed!
