Vacation rentals in Lagoa do Congro

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful 20-day stay at this beautiful property in Ribeira Grande. The location couldn't be better, and the house exceeded all our expectations with its modern interior and thoughtful amenities - everything we needed was provided. What truly made our stay special was our incredible host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The homemade dessert was such a lovely touch that perfectly showed their genuine hospitality and care for guests. We couldn't have asked for a better home base to explore São Miguel Island. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect combination of comfort, location, and outstanding hospitality. Thank you for making our Azores adventure so memorable!

We loved staying at Azure Sunset in Mosteiros. It was pristine with three comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful backyard pool and jacuzzi. The house is located at the end of a quiet street just off the water. The views from the backyard are splendid—the rocky coast of the Atlantic. We were able to watch gorgeous sunsets from the backyard, or walk 7 minutes to Mosteiros beach, which was so special. The house was ideally located for exploring Sete Cidades, Mosteiros beach, and the Ponte de Ferraria natural thermal pools.

Incredible stay! Joana’s place is just as pictured, but the pictures don’t capture the beauty and tranquility of her home. The house is tucked back in a hill with an ocean view. Easy to find with the GPS. Parking across the street with 4 children in tow, we were mindful of the road, but there was never an issue. We found it to be a convenient home base for our trip. Joana was very easy to communicate with. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our kids loved exploring the grounds and being surrounded by nature. Home is well equipped to cook and relax. Bonus has a washer and dryer which was needed after adventuring through the island. If we are ever lucky enough to come back to the green island we would stay here again.

Great! The duplex apartment is high-quality, clean and well located. The welcome treats and the folder with information are a great idea. Without her, we wouldn't have discovered the delicious queijadas from the nearby shop. On both floors there is a nice bathroom with shower and a TV and bedroom. Upstairs there is a couch and if you go out on the balcony and look over the wall, you can see the Baixo island. There are also balcony chairs and a table. Laundry rack, somewhat hidden behind a door on the balcony, available. Since the apartment is actually much too large for two people, we stayed on the lower floor. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Parking at the property in the evening is rather unavailable. There is a public parking lot nearby. As an editor for a home and architecture magazine, I have seen many vacation homes. Mario's house is one of those you fall in love with right away. The renovation is done very carefully, and the decor looks modern, but at the same time warm and welcoming. Three separate residential units offer enough privacy, even if you share the house with other guests – which did not bother us at all. The amenities are great, and the pool and views are just fantastic. I can well imagine that other travelers who value style and comfort will also love this house. All in all: worth a trip!

Immaculate and great location in Furnas. Clean, comfortable apartment with well-appointed kitchen. The location was amazing just a block from Parque Terra Nostra. The Caldeiras are on the other side of town, a 10-15 minute walk. Ample street parking a short distance from the apartment. We found the washer/dryer useful. The best part for me was how quiet the penthouse was. It is on a main street, but the place is in the back of the building, and we never heard street noise or neighbors. This was my favorite place of the 3 we stayed at in Portugal, but it was my wife's second favorite, as it was smaller than the others and she found it a bit cramped.

What a peaceful, private and beautiful accommodation. The gardens are spectacular. Francisco is so easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations. We look forward to a return to this little bit of heaven!

This location was perfect as a home base for our trip to Sao Miguel. We had rented a car and any part of the island was less than an hour drive away. This made it very easy for us to get out hiking, eat at one of the various delicious restaurants across the island, explore one of the many beautiful beaches and then return home and still be within walking distance of Praia de Agua d’Alto if we wanted to keep going. If it’s a rainy day, you’re nearby Furnas and could easily enjoy some time in the thermal baths. Highly recommend booking if this great location is available for even a portion of your stay in the Açores!
