Tuscarora State Forest and Colonel Denning State Park have nice hiking trails. Blain is the closest town where you will find Fowlers Hollow Park, Kings Bakery, Earth’s Delights, Conoco View Dairy, Blain Market, and Wise Dry Goods. Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

State game land is a 5 minute drive for hunting. Acres of land for hiking, watch wildlife, or just relax. The Juniata river is a 10 minute drive to go kayaking. Amazing mom and pop resturaunts to eat at. This cabin is just one hour from Penn State main campus for football games and is an hour from Hershey Park.

Enjoy our indoor fireplace on cold winter nights, the breezy screened-in porch for your morning coffee or evening drink, and river frontage for hot sunny days. We are an easy drive to State College for athletics, graduation, etc., and close proximity to excellent hiking, fishing, skiing, and water recreation.

You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! The McVeytown House house is located within walking distance of the Juniata River Access Area. Yoder Tourways Bus Garage is right across the street, in case you are scheduled for a tour! And with the railroad right close by you can watch the trains from the living room and also the front porch! There are 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed and the third has a king bed.

Off the road but easily accessible secluded cabin located in a 135 acre pine forest. A bird watchers haven. Take your coffee on the covered deck and enjoy the peace, quiet and the wildlife. Sit around the campfire, free firewood is provided, enjoy a walk in the woods! Family friendly. We allow pets but have a two pet limit and they must be crated when unattended.
