Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lachine Canal

Julia’s place is - I believe - rightly named: for it feels like walking into a home away from home. We live this little place and will for sure return since we frequent Montreal often enough when we visit family. This home is great for a larger family like our family of 7; if you’re in need of space where hotel rooms - albeit comfortable - are usually compact and more expensive. This place is a quaint little hidden gem.

Olivier’s place was a great gem in an already wonderful area. The interior had lots of charm and the amenities were just as described. The neighbourhood was quiet and we could only hear noise whenever anyone entered/exited the adjacent units. We were initially confused with the instructions stating the entrance was on the left (thinking it was on the side of the building), but the entrance is just the door furthest to the left. Other than that check-in/out was simple and easy. If I were to nitpick anything, it would have been that some dirty items were left in the freezer, there was a lack of paper towels, and the tub/shower area could've had a squeegee to help wipe off excess water as per bathroom instructions. The washing machine only runs hot, even though you set it to cold (could be user error on my end), and the dryer makes your clothes linty due to the towels but this won't affect everyone. Otherwise, the stay was great and would highly recommend for value and for location alone!

From checking in to getting around the neighborhood is hassle free. I had rented a car so it was easy for me to go around Montreal. The house is very cute. Everything you need is provided. Clean and free of clutter. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Thank you so very much. We had a great time.

Great stay! Very clean and modern

We stayed at Irma's for a concert at Place Bell. perfect location and flawless experience. We had several last minute changes that Irma accommodated with yease and grace. We would definitely stay here again!

Where do I start? Kristina is an amazing host. She is attentive and generous and eager to help. From doing the laundry for free and letting us park our car in the driveway after check out. Yes, there is a little noise from the family upstairs but it did not bother us. We loved the balcony, the showers and the air con. The place was only a few minutes walk to the wedding venue and to an amazing cafe called Monk Cafe.

Vincent did everything to make our stay comfortable. What a great place it was. In a beautiful quite area if you have a family and kids and want to be somewhere quite and comfortable 100%. This is the place !

Great apartment near Sherbrooke Street. The back deck worked out beautifully with summer weather. As described by owner, 3 bedrooms and a good sized living room. Kitchen worked out well. There is a bunk room for kids. The unit is upstairs and has a good railing to use. Parking outside on site. Pepper the cat was around on back deck. Very friendly cat. Restaurants, grocery store and SAQ walking distance. Fabulous kids playground in Westmount park. Perfect for our family.

Amazing location central to everything! Danielle was incredibly helpful. She even arranges a work table as we were going to be working on our remote jobs during the day. Lived that we were able to be on the Mount Royal trails in under 15 min. The apartment itself is lovely and sitting by the window seeing all the activity below while drinking our morning coffee became one of our favorite things to do.

My wife and I stayed at Oluwaseyi’s place for our anniversary and we have no regrets. 1st of all, Oluwaseyi was very proactive in reaching out to us with clear instructions. He even personally greeted my wife and I when we arrived at his place, making sure we were okay. His place was exactly as advertised, clean and in a perfect location from many attractions and restaurants in downtown Montreal. We had everything we needed in is apartment and certainly wouldn’t hesitate in using his place again!!!

Wonderfully spacious apartment. Demetrios’ place had all the necessities one might need. Well equipped with full kitchen and laundry. Super tidy & close to public transportation. Overall great stay!

I was solo was hoping to share compared to hoteling great value and lovely location. Very close to my Dads Senior Residence for my visit.

It’s a great place to stay. I really appreciate that the host prepared snacks and accessories for our dog. She was crazy about them and we were happy seeing her running back and forth in the large living room. This is a place that we 100% recommend booking. Hopefully we can revisit :)

Joe was a fantastic host and he property was great. Nice, modern kitchen and bathroom and quick access to try Metro. Some great little restaurants nearby and quick walk to lots of shopping.

We loved Johanne’s place! Perfect for a family of 4. Great location! Very walkable to many amazing restaurants, shopping and art galleries. Garage parking was very convenient. Secure building. Johanne was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Staying with Sarah was a 10 out of 10! The apartment is very comfortable. My husband and I love walking, so we visited the main attractions of the city on foot. If you're not much of a walker, there's a metro station just a few blocks away. The highway entrance is only 5 minutes away, which is ideal — it saves you time since you don’t have to drive through the entire city. I definitely recommend staying here. Sarah is very attentive, and the apartment was spotless!

We had a great stay at Victorias! Everything was matched to description and very clean! Victoria was a great host, very friendly and responsive which is always appreciated :) would recommend to someone going to Montreal!

The place was super clean and cozy. Lots of great restaurants and cafes next to it. Close to the metro station and walkable distance from downtown.

Great downtown condo located just a few steps from the Sherbrooke metro station and the best neighbourhood in Montreal, the Plateau Mont-Royal. The included crib and high chair, child friendly layout, and proximity to the Sherbrooke metro station and the Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood make it an excellent option for couples or groups travelling with an infant or toddler (as long as you don’t mind doing the stairs on a 3rd floor walk-up and you bring a sound machine for the little one and ear plugs for yourselves at night, as the street noise is noticeable, but bearable). M.J. was a great host and the early check-in was very much appreciated. Having previously lived in the neighbourhood myself, I know that ants can be an issue indoors in the spring and we saw a few, but they can happen almost anywhere. It wasn’t a big deal to us.

Dominique was extremely responsive and the place was extremely clean. Everything in Montréal was relatively close, and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
