The stay was great, it is an authentic cottage on the property where the owners also live. The house is cozy and rural and very neat and clean. It is very rural but at a good distance from all amenities and there is plenty to do if you want, many beautiful castles nearby and beautiful towns. The garden and pool are beautiful and we enjoyed this very much, as well as the sound of all the birds around us. Anne and Yvon are very attentive, friendly and helpful owners who are there for you at all times should you need this, on the other hand, they also respect your privacy. Absolutely recommended!

We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Old sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with views of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

A lovely home in a quiet rural setting. Comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. About 4 km out of tours. Two large bedrooms upstairs with an en suite shower in second bedroom and another shower off kitchen downstairs. One toilet downstairs and another outside back door. Good heating in all rooms. No air con or Wifi. We really enjoyed our 6 day stay.

Great brand new and complete accommodation

Karine is a very attentive host. I had never woken up in a rental with hot croissants waiting for us. We had the flexibility to leave, as there were no other guests after us. We felt very good on this well furnished terrace. It was a perfect place for our romantic weekend and we warmly thank Karine.

Ideally located to visit the castles with space to park the car inside the locked garden. Charming small house, quiet, furnished with great taste. Very good bedding. This cottage has been "thought out" and furnished with great taste and thinking about the smallest detail: the dishes are beautiful, the decoration warm and pleasant, the bedding comfortable, even the linens are well chosen! ...Impeccable cleanliness, small sunny garden in the morning, shaded in the evening, perfect for spending pleasant moments, quiet. A parking space is even provided in front of the accommodation! We enjoyed a very sunny week, one or two nights a little hot (there is a fan...) and are delighted with this stay by the Loire. Thank you Laurence and well done for this lovely cottage! Among other possible activities: small suggestion for amateurs: a 3-hour "abstract painting" workshop, in Tours (at Sylvie B. painter) was offered to us by Airbnb, I participated and I really enjoyed it!...so go for it!
