Newly refurbished stone barn full of light and color in a cute village just 1 km from the sea. Wood floors and natural insulation give a feeling of warmth. Upstairs living room leads to sunny roof terrace or go out of kitchen to shady private garden. Home-cooked meals of homegrown or local produce available on request, as well as visits of our mini-farm and garden. Fort de Vauville

The Fort of Vauville, listed as a Historic Monument, was built in the 18th century and designed by the architect of Louis XIV, Sébastien de Vauban. The only house on the beach, exposed to rain, winds and storms, the Fort de Vauville is rustic and not suitable for cozy people! This small fortress was built with the intention to protect the French coast. The Fort de Vauville is the last of the 40 then built at the time along the Cotentin coast.

Beautiful hikes await you along the GR that goes around our peninsula, bike or boat rides to the Jersey Islands.

This former stable has been beautifully converted into a modern vacation home. The house is small but practical, and tastefully decorated. You will enjoy great tranquility, while being only 3 km from the city of Valognes. A pleasant south-facing terrace and private access to the gardens are dedicated to you.
