Very beautiful quiet house with two large bedrooms. Missing some kitchen essentials (oil, salt, sugar...). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardener), possibility of presence of tractors.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

We stayed at Anne-Sophie's apartment for a long weekend and had a wonderful experience. The place was spotless and beautifully maintained. She had thoughtfully provided plenty of information about the town, as well as a lovely welcome gift of homemade apple juice and fig jam, whch was a really nice touch. Anne-Sophie was very helfpul and always quck to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We've just stayed at Anne's place for a week and had the most wonderful holiday. It had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for our 3 year old with so much to do for him and the pool was secured with a fence. There are so many games and spaces to explore. Location was superb and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you Anne for giving us the best week!

We spent 2 fabulous days, in a sublime location. It is a peaceful haven where everything is in place to unwind. Brigitte is welcoming and discreet. The pool is accessible without any restrictions. And what a joy to cool off...especially these last few days that were very hot. We will come back, because the region is large, we will rent again in this little paradise.

We had a brilliant stay! Tosha and Robert were absolutely fantastic — friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and set in gorgeous surroundings. They went above and beyond to accommodate our 18-month-old, providing a stair gate, cot, and high chair, which made everything so much easier for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

Marja was very friendly as soon as we arrived, she made sure to book us a restaurant, so we could eat, because we arrived late. Regarding the accommodation, it is just impeccable, swimming pool, garden, trampoline, tennis court, we enjoyed it! If you are looking to relax, connecting with nature is a perfect place. There are plenty of little hikes around, and the starry sky in the garden is just beautiful.

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

Looking for peace and quiet in a park- or farm- like setting? This is the place. Vincent and Xavier have thought of everything you might need or want, including a welcome community atmosphere. We loved the delightful welcome evening to get to know the other guests and more about the history of the Domaine and the area. Such a nice touch!

This was easily one of the most relaxing, wonderful places we have ever stayed. 5 days away felt like a month's holiday. Beautiful surroundings, extremely peaceful, lovely house. Lots to do in the nearby towns and villages. If you go, you'll want to stay longer and return.

Great places to discover the region. Lots of activities nearby. Impeccable, warm, and quiet accommodation. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The host is very responsive, welcoming and warm. Everything was explained to us from the moment we arrived with a small recap booklet, restaurants, activities to do in the area. A little piece of heaven, we'll be back! Thank you

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

We stayed for a month enjoyed a very relaxing time. Marie Christine could not have been more helpful. The village is beautiful and busy during the day but very quiet at night with limited restaurants open. But it is open with all the restaurants at lunch time. The Bar in the centre of the village was very friendly and we would recommend the hotel in the village for food! The walks were sublime - if you love walking you will love it here. Marie Christine was super helpful and hospitable - even when we accidentally broke her fridge - a truly lovely lady. If you like quirky you will love it here.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

We had a great time at this very cozy accommodation close to the city center (5-minute walk around beautiful alleys), while being in a very quiet environment :) Martine was very welcoming and gave us plenty of addresses, while being very available and very kind! We will gladly go back to enjoy this very pleasant setting in Montignac!

The experience was perfect. Virginia's place and her husband is a haven of peace, we wanted a weekend in the green, we couldn't have asked for better. The newly renovated home has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The mezzanine bedroom is very nice, and cool thanks to its stone walls. The perfect bedding. The exterior is beautifully maintained by Virginia and her husband, both landscapers. The terrain is huge, which was the delight of our puppy who was able to run everywhere. No noise nearby is perfect for disconnecting and doing nothing. We really enjoyed the nearby villages / areas full of charms. A big thank you for the welcome, breakfast and everything else!

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. A beautiful little house, tucked away but still so close to everything you need. The perfect base whether you are looking to explore or relax in the sun. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Accommodation as in the photos. Hawa has always been very responsive in communication. The only thing to change would be the aging shutters in the street-side room that let in a lot of light very early in the morning, which can be problematic for sleeping. Other than that everything was perfect, we had a nice stay in the area.
