Tabitabi Kanoe Mitsu is a fully renovated, over 100-year-old Kyomachi house, located right next to Rokubo-Ritsu-Ji Temple, and is limited to one group per day. Looking from the entrance, you can see the garden spreading beyond the Yukimi Shoji sliding screen. It features a large palm tree. When you open the window from the living room, the semi-open-air bath directly connected to the garden invites guests to the best healing experience regardless of the season. The bathtub is made of Shigaraki-yaki, produced in a kiln in Shiga Prefecture. The far infrared effect warms the body to the core and makes it difficult for the bath to cool down. Why not relax from the daily grind while enjoying a drink and taking in the beautiful Japanese garden? The Japanese-style room on the second floor features a shoji screen with a Mondrian-style design. The bedroom headboard is designed to resemble the Tateyama mountain range. Kyoto Seifuan is a private inn in a Kyoto townhouse, located a little way down an alley from the bank of the Shirakawa River in Higashiyama Sanjo. Also, the alley in front is very quiet, with almost no traffic, so you can spend plenty of time relaxing. Kyoto Seifuan is a 4-minute walk from Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Line, with good transportation and shopping, and you can also walk to nearby temples, Heian Jingu, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, and Gion. It is a private space that is rented out as a whole, but in case of emergency, you can contact the staff 24 hours a day by mobile phone and email, so you can rest assured. We will accommodate your request before your stay, check-in, and luggage storage after check-out as much as possible.

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.
