Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kure Beach

Risako's place was beautiful, spotless, and had every convenience. Not only did we find everything we we had a need for throughout the week, but everything was in great condition as well. The kitchen was well stocked and it was fun to cook and eat there. The bathrooms were spotless, stocked with extra necessities, and had luxurious showers. In the main level living room, sectional was very comfortable and big enough for our family of 7 to fit on it comfortably for movie nights. We spent a lot of time on the deck, too, and the back yard was pretty and big enough for the kids to play in. Kure Beach was new to us and we loved it. Lots of beautiful homes and landscaping, a great neighborhood for walking, running, and biking and close to a paved bike trail that connects to a nice park. The house is a very short, easy walk to the beach while still being out of the way of most of the beach traffic, and we enjoyed walking to the pavilion for beach church and a concert.

This is now our go-to house for the beach. The two bedrooms on the second floor are spacious, clean, and have access to a large balcony with rocking chairs and loungers. There are so many places to talk, have coffee, read, write, and relax. In other places that we've rented, there has been a "corporate" vibe, but this place felt very personal, mainly because of the thoughtfulness in the details. I felt like I was visiting a very cool friend's home. Everything was accessible, clean, and easy to navigate. I cooked several meals here and never felt lost or that the logistics or appliances were overly complicated like I have in other places. The host was kind and accessible.

Beautiful home in a great location! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach. The private beach access and parking is a huge plus. The house was extremely clean, especially for a pet friendly property, and had everything we needed for our stay. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our pups. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Love love love! Everything about this home and location was absolutely perfect for my lil family vacation. The pictures in listing do not do this home justice. The deck is newly refinished and we enjoyed hanging outside. Sunrise view, beautiful. The grands thoroughly enjoyed having the beach right outside the backdoor, literally. I was hoping to find a home to make a yearly family trip and we have definitely found it! Jennifer is a A++ host. She stayed in touch and was so informative and accommodating. Can’t wait to return!

The Seahorse Castle was perfect for 2! Clean, plenty of dishes and kitchen must haves, a soakable sized tub, decorated with beachy vibes, and just as described. If you have 4x4 I recommend Fort Fisher to drive out and set up on the beach. We had an amazing time, ate good food, heard live music, went to CB market around the lake Saturday morning, and can’t wait to return! This was our first Airbnb experience since selling our timeshare last year. Andres & Emily made everything easy! Great check in and check out instructions. The condo was very clean, with all of the amenities they listed in their description. The bed was clean and comfortable and the living room was nicely decorated with a couch, coffee table and television. Highly recommend eating at Island Burger and Pops Diner, which are nearby. The boardwalk was only 2 blocks over. I also found a beautiful starfish necklace (I've been looking for a nice one for awhile) at a boutique called Salty Chic...very cool store located in the Publix shopping center. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would also highly recommend Andres And Emily's condo, especially for a couple.

Overall, this was a great experience. She had clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was a short walk from the beach and it was cute and cozy!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The Loft was just like the pictures—beautiful and clean! We would absolutely stay here again. It is located in a great spot we were able to take a short walk to a couple restaurants, as well as the beach. The hosts had very precise details on check in and check out, they made everything very easy for us. Highly recommend staying here!

Daniel was great! Answered all my questions and was super quick with his responses. The house was immaculate I almost felt bad touching stuff. I really enjoyed my stay and I am impressed with the cleanliness of the home! Would definitely stay again!

My stay was perfect. Erika was a great host and is so nice! I booked last minute when I had a problem arise with other accommodations. Erika responded quickly and went out of her way to make sure I was able to get into the suite. The suite is cute, cozy, super clean and comfortable. It is loaded with everything needed for a wonderful stay.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

Awesome place! It looked exactly like the pictures. It’s also in close proximity to a lot of things. Everything was clean and in good condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

The view was beautiful and Kristen was a great host. My husband had a kidney stone attack the day before we left and she was willing to work with us if we had to stay another night but he felt well enough to leave the next day as he had a doctor‘s appointment scheduled the next day. The view was spectacular!!

Beautiful condo- clean, well stocked and comfy beds. We loved having the option to go back and forth from beach to pool, so everyone was happy!! The storage closet has everything you need for a great beach day. Loved sitting on the deck every morning and night. The host was super responsive and gave great instructions and recommendations on the area. Already planning our trip for next year!! Great place for families!! Thank you!!

Anne was so wonderful to work with and her communication was excellent! Her place was not only beautiful, but it was the perfect location to both the beach and the pool! It had multiple private decks for our family to enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean. The house was spotless and has been very well maintained; and as an extra bonus- it included ALL of the linens including plenty of extra bath towels and beach towels! We will definitely be back for many years to come!

Thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay. Only wish it had been for longer. You can’t beat the location, without exaggeration, it’s truly about as convenient as it gets. Beach, shops, food, covered private parking, the property is situated directly over an eatery and immediately adjacent to a coffee shop. All good stuff!

Wonderful week at Carolina Beach. Ryan’s condo was spotless and the amenities were exceptional. The location is perfect for sun bathing or a quick walk to shops, restaurants and the Boardwalk. The wrap around porch with multiple seating areas was perfect - you could always find a place in the shade or sun no matter what time of day. Sunrises just off the deck if you’re up early were serene and peaceful. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Ryan even left a pretty substantial ‘starter kit’ of coffee. snacks and toiletries to make the stay even easier. We rented 4 separate places for a family gathering and everyone agreed that this condo had the best space inside and out. Even saying they would try to book this condo on their next trip back. We rented 2 umbrellas and surfboard for the week and they were delivered and set up on the beach daily for us. There are no beach chairs at the rental - so you are on your own for that service. Thank you Ryan - great rental experience!

Nicole was a wonderful host, so friendly and communicative. The apartment was clean, so comfortable, and wonderfully located! Great place to stay at Carolina Beach, we will be back!
