We had a wonderful time at Elia House! The house was spotless, very neat and exactly as shown in the photos, modern and comfortable. From the very beginning, we felt at home. The location is very convenient for excursions in the area and is also next to the beach that is accessible on foot and is all sandy. We visited the beach, Ancient Olympia, which is very close, we went for a walk in Kaiafas and enjoyed nature. There are also several villages and taverns for nice food and relaxation in the surrounding area. Georgia, the hostess, was very friendly and helpful as she was always willing to help us with whatever we needed. In general, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely go again since it is only 3 hours from Athens. We recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet and beautiful stay in Ilia and to visit Ancient Olympia.

Mano’s responsiveness and help was remarkable. The house is quite comfortable for up to 8 people. It has everything you want and makes you feel like home! The only two things worth mentioning are: 1) There are a lot of mosquitoes in the area, making it difficult to enjoy the fantastic yard of the house and discouraging everyone needing to go outside for any reason. Having equipped the house with both inside and outside mosquitoes repellents would be a quite important “plus”. 2) The yard is not fully fenced in, so if someone has a dog that tends to wander or does not have good recall, they can easily get outside of the premises of the house.

Christos' home in Krestena is a unique opportunity to experience village life with all the comforts. The house is squeaky clean, organized, comfortable, has good wifi performance, & above all offers the lovely view it advertises. The village is lively & right in the middle of many fascinating locations 20 minutes in all directions with alpine hikes literally outside the door. A visit in spring is a further benefit as the verdant landscape is splashed with colorful wildflowers. We felt comfortable allowing our pre-teen to wander the streets of the village on his own. There is a KTEL station in the town so no need for a car but preferable to explore the wider area. One note: since the area where the house is built on the mountain slope is in an older part of town, the streets are narrow. When arriving at the house for the first time, make sure to follow Christos' instructions rather than the GPS. And for some of the best bread we've had in a long time, head to Spyropoulos Bakery.

The apartment is well located and nicely furnished including amenities like a coffee machine, washing machine and fast wifi. We felt very much at home here and the hosts were approachable and had great recommendations. We stayed here during the off-season (in May) and the beach directly opposite of the street was full of driftwood and the beach bar closed. So we ended up going to Voidokilias beach most of the time which is roughly 15-20 minutes away and just incredible.

Beautiful quiet place with magnificent views of the hills. Spacious and tidy house. Great, very responsive hosts. If you have enough of the city and you are looking for tranquility, this is the place to come:)

Absolutely unforgettable stay! The photos truly don’t capture the breathtaking beauty of this place — it’s even more stunning in person. Waking up each morning to the serene sights and sounds of nature was nothing short of magical. The peaceful atmosphere made it incredibly easy to unwind and disconnect. Banana Beach is just a quick 5-minute drive away, with several other beautiful beaches nearby as well. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, there’s no shortage of beach bars to enjoy. The central market is only 2 minutes away and has everything you could possibly need. Our host was exceptional — she responded promptly to all our messages and kindly accommodated an early check-in due to our flight schedule. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly at home. This Airbnb was more than just a place to stay — it was an experience I’ll never forget.

Kostas accommodation is just perfect for a short stay in Olympia. Everything within walking distance. We particularly liked that there are two great restaurants right at the property and you - although quietly located - are only one street away from the main road. So you could go for a nice stroll in the evening after the bus tourists were gone. Kostas greeted us personally, assigned us a parking space and is super friendly. He gives good tips for exploring or can tell you Greek history worth knowing. This saved us from having to hire a guide at the excavation site. In addition, parking on the street is super safe even with luggage in the car. Absolutely recommended accommodation. Thank you Kostas!

A tranquil haven of peace. From the moment we arrived at Skiaxtro, we knew we were in the right place. Alexandra’s big smile and friendly warmth set the scene for our 3 day stay. This place is a natural beauty, with special touches here and there that just make you go ‘wow’. From immaculately clean and beautifully furnished yurts, to hammocks dotted around the olive grove, to each tree being lovingly named after a Greek God - I could go on, but I will leave you to find the rest out for yourself! We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves throughout our stay, alongside 5 beautiful cats, and needless to say we did nothing but bask in the serenity. Alexandra is the most beautiful, kind and talented spirit, always on hand but never intrusive. My husband and I loved spending time with her. It’s clear she has put her heart, soul and alot of hard work into this place. We left with joy in our hearts, a few tears, and a bag full of her handmade crafts. We love you Sacrecrow!
