Located close to lake Hvaleyrarvatn were you can hike and the mountain Helgafell is 15 min away with great hiking trails and beautiful nature. Íshestar the horse riding tour is 7 min away and they take you on a tour through lava and amazing landscaping. There are swimming pools and gym close by and down town is a bakery, café, bars and nice restaurants. It takes 5 min to drive and around 20 min to walk.

It has a well stocked kitchen, elegant furniture, a beautiful bathroom and comfortable new beds, one king and one queen. The third room/office is open with one single bed and beautiful sunset views. Surrounding the property is a beautiful lava garden with a deck that offers spectacular views on the nature park, lots of hikes, a romantic lake and nearby new volcano and Blue Lagoon.

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.
