The Markthaus is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic Malerweg. The vaulted cellar and foundation walls date back to 1527. We live in Saxon Switzerland National Park on a 200-year-old farm in Bielatal. The farm is located at an altitude of 400 meters. From here you have a magnificent view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. We lovingly converted the middle part of the old cowshed with the hayloft into the apartment. It is part of the large restored 4-sided farm.
