Ιστορικά η Πολιανή έχει καταγεγραμμένους μέχρι και σήμερα πάνω από 45 βυζαντινούς ναούς ενώ σώζεται από τη Βυζαντινή περίοδο ο ναός Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου με αξιόλογες τοιχογραφίες του 12ου αιώνα.

It is a two-storey house on a 12-acre estate of olive trees and vineyards. The 30 sq.m. ground floor consists of an open plan kitchen-bedroom and an outdoor bathroom. The upper floor of 60 sq.m. consists of a kitchen-living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a comfortable terrace with unlimited views of the Messinian Gulf.
