The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Centrally located in the Faroe Islands, Hósvík is the perfect base for exploring the islands, or just relaxing in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The apartment is perfect for individuals/couples, with or without children, who do not need much indoor space. There are narrow stairs up in the apartment, i.e. unsuitable for people who are not fully mobile.

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

Charming old faroese house

Jutta’s house is very well equipped. If you want to cook and prepare food, you’ll find plenty of dishes and kitchenware. The stairs to the lower floor are very steep, so caution is needed (the bathroom is on the lower floor, as well as one of the bedrooms). The sound insulation isn't the best, so you’ll hear every step from the upper floor while in the bedroom downstairs, but I didn’t mind that. The surrounding nature is very beautiful, it's very peaceful, and you’ll definitely enjoy it if that’s something you like.

We had a fantastic stay at this very cute house! The location is absolutely perfect—right on the water with breathtaking views of the mountains that we couldn’t get enough of. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going out of their way to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We truly felt at home and would love to come back. There is no way to capture in pictures how beautiful the scenery is from this home. Absolutely stunning. Very comfortable for 2 people but the shower was a challenge. No way around that. It was an adventure trying to get a shower in and try not to fall and kill yourself. Small price to pay in my opinion and will 100% stay here again.

We had two wonderful days on the beautiful island of Hestur, staying at Arna’s charming house. The experience felt truly authentic, and Arna was a fantastic host, always quick to answer all our questions.
