Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kočevje

Our stay at Edvard's went well. The house is located in a place filled with greenery and is very peaceful and pleasant. The house was clean. Small downside for the 2 beds that could apparently be put together and to which we did not have access. The host is very responsive by message. Thank you for letting us discover Slovenia!

A nice cosy location to explore the region. The house is very well equipped with everything you need. In the garden there is a nice place to sit, protected from sun and rain. Supermarkets and the town center are in walking distance. Also it is possible to walk to the Cerknica Lake. We met several members of Lauras family, they are all so nice and helped us to feel very comfortable.

A lovely base to explore the local countryside and the wider country, by car. Clean, spacious and peaceful. Mateja was a proactive and helpful host.

The stay at Tina and Igors house was wonderful! The house is even nicer then in the description and pictures. Two saunas, a whirlpool, the outdoor kitchen... And everything is top notch and up to date, e.g. the kitchen is really well supplied and you have everything you could need. We really enjoyed our time there and the communication was always super easy and friendly. We definitely want to return and also recommend it to everyone.

The house is situated on a spacious and very well-kept property. It is in a very quiet location, beautifully situated by the river. The facilities in the house are excellent. Bicycles, a canoe, a volleyball net and table tennis are available for sporting activities. The sauna, whirlpool and beautiful terrace can be used to relax and unwind. We made extensive use of these and had a wonderful time relaxing. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. We made day trips to Zagreb and Ljubljana, which can be reached in less than 1.5 hours. We would like to thank Ivan and Alena for their hospitality and for a great week in Medlika.

We had a lovely few nights in Nova Vas. The house was a home from home and had everything we needed. An obviously well loved home with lots of character. Luka was friendly and helpful when we needed to contact him about a small matter. Ideally situated for Visiting the caves at Krizna Jama and Lake Bloke the house was a perfect base. Just wish we had more time to explore the area.

It was a beautiful stay amidst nature, Dunja is a great host.

The accommodation is in a very quiet area. It is a small renovated apartment, well maintained and clean. Mateja and her family were very kind and helpful, both with us and with the children, they even took them for a few rides on their horses and they had a lot of fun. Recommended!

We are happy to recommend this place – you can feel at home. Igor and Natasha are exceptional hosts who take care of every detail to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The space is not only beautiful, but also practically decorated, so you can find everything you need for everyday life without worrying about any shortcomings. Hosts are incredibly helpful and always willing to give advice on local experiences and more. Staying in this picturesque setting was an amazing experience for us and we will definitely want to come back. The location of the cottage is excellent as a base for exploring Slovenia – which was key for us. From there, we visited the Soczy Valley, the area of Triglav, Lake Bled, the capital of Ljubljana, and the coast. We'd love to remember this stay. Thank you so much for everything! ❤️

Wow, wow, wow!!! We stayed at Villa Katerina for a week over Christmas and it was just perfect. It is a stunning place with everything you could need and plenty of room. The surrounding area is just beautiful, quiet and rural. It was truly idyllic. Having the fire was wonderful and made it feel extra special. It is easy to get to Ljubljana, Zagreb and other local towns but also perfect for walking straight from the door into the countryside. Michael gave us some excellent recommendations of places to go and is very helpful and responsive. He also gave us gifts of homemade honey and honey liquor which were very gratefully received! We would have stayed longer if we could!

We had a great time at the apartment. You get a great stay for little money. It has everything you need, and although it’s part of a hostel, it feels like you have your own stay. Very nice hosts. Looks better than the pictures, great place to eat outside. Not much in the area though, but we wanted to travel by car and see the country that way. So that worked well!

A setting to take your breath away for its tranquility. More than charming hosts, full of very delicate attention and whom we would have liked to have thanked verbally. The chalet is impeccable and very well-appointed. It has all the necessary equipment. We had a great time. Thanks again

First things first, Eva is a wonderful, attentive, proactive and friendly host (she gave us one of the best lists of recommendations for walks, hikes, markets etc.). She answered every single one of our questions (and there were many) immediately and gave us the info we needed. For example, we wanted to make a barbecue and we needed a brush to clean the grill - and then Eva's dad ended up getting us a whole new grill so we didn't have to clean (kudos Eva's dad). The backyard is breathtaking, the views, the little nook in front of the jacuzzi for morning coffee and breakfast etc. Kitchen was fully equipped and had an impressive amount of spices and cookware. Everything was top notch clean, really everything. We really loved our stay, would recommend to all of our friends (or gatekeep so we can come back)! p.s. there's a small cute local dog named Luna, she will greet you at some point as well :)

The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The cottage is reached via a nice walkway from the steps. Although the luggage would sweat themselves with no problem, the hosts pulled it up to the cabin with a stroller. They are very flexible, nothing intrusive and very friendly! We felt at home and enjoyed the unspoiled nature.

We spend a wonderful night in the hutte. We recommend this peaceful place.

Matjaz welcomed us warmly and instructed us in everything essential. The house was in top condition and the children were immediately enthusiastic. The outdoor area is very large and offers many opportunities to relax. The area is extremely quiet, which also contributes to relaxation. We also found the view very beautiful because you had a beautiful view of the adjacent forest from the small hill on which the house stands. The accommodation is also perfect as a starting point for any activities. When we plan our vacation in the area again, Matjaz's accommodation is at the top of our list.

Our stay in Trebelno was a one off. The shrimp is very tasteful and well equipped and has a nice smell of wood. Homely and comfortable! The location is nice, peaceful and scenic, and not remote at all. The host is extremely welcoming and friendly, we were also able to pick fresh herbs in his beautiful garden. We'd love to come back. Thank you!

Wonderful cabin. A great starting point for many hikes in nature. 35 min from Ljubljana and 12 min away from Ribnica. Amazing view and very quiet surroundings. The sauna is an absolute highlight !

We had a super nice stay and were delighted with the accommodation and the sauna. We enjoyed and loved the tranquility. In addition, communication went smoothly and we were able to reach out to Peter with any matter. I highly recommend the place.

Natasa and her husband Robert are great hosts who gave us a warm welcome and cooked for us with additional wine. The cottage/ apartma is beautiful, nice and very well built and made. We very much enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the quiet, quiet location. Lovely bed and lovely shower. What a warm, sweet, nice people who grant you the whole world. Their son runs the AirBnB account. One photo does not match the location at their house and that is the photo of the lake. Also the description of 80m to lake is probably part of their other location.
