Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

We spent an amazing weekend at this place in Rotorua. The home was very cozy, air conditioned, clean and well looked after. The host was very responsive, proactive in communication and made us feel very welcome. It is quite centrally located and it's easy to get around walking or a few minutes driving. Highly recommended and we'll definitely visit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great space and sunny location. Modern, clean and warm, with beautiful outdoor space for our toddler to explore. Beds extremely comfy with luxury feel bedding (even took note of the pillows so I could buy some). Playground around the corner and walking distance to Taupo. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Our stay was a perfect 10/10! We were on a girls’ trip and felt completely safe throughout. The location was ideal—private and peaceful, yet just a short drive from the main city, Eat Streat, Redwood Forest, Polynesian Spa, and other attractions. The house itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well-maintained. It's an ideal spot for families or a group of friends, with a spacious backyard that's great for kids to play and adults to relax or enjoy a BBQ. Portia was an incredibly responsive and friendly host, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. I highly recommend this stay!

A neat and tidy cottage in a nice area not far from town. A little small on the inside but good for an overnight stay. The bed is super comfy and cozy and the facilities are great. Being dog friendly is a great option and very well catered for. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you 🤩

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. Three couples and room for more. Two lounges, pool table, five bedrooms, spotlessly clean. Shortcut to the Lake/town via Belvedere Grove for those walking.

Another great stay! Booked last minute and Karl & Ness were super accommodating as always. The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. The spa was a real treat, especially on a chilly winter night — makes it feel like a real home away from home. Always appreciate the easy communication and warm welcome. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend!

Lovely well equipped house. Love the house plants. Great location close to lake (nice view) and walkable to town. Awesome fenced back yard for dogs. Easy flat parking on the section. House had a really nice feel and Helen was super responsive and helpful.

Great property, great host, and wonderful stay! The property is spacious, well appointed, very clean and fresh, and a retreat away from home! We really enjoyed our stay with 3 adults and 6 kids at the property. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the fireplace with the wood provided, and even the chickens. As we have chickens at home that just added to the appeal. This location worked really well for hitting the glowworms and Hobbiton!

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Rachael was an exceptional host. We were in town for a family bereavement which Rachael picked up on and had flowers waiting for us upon arrival with a touching note. The home was just fabulous to come back to and relax. I made an error in booking, getting the dates wrong. Rachael was so understanding and went the extra mile to refund a nights accommodation and followed up to make sure we found a place for the second night. The kind gestures from Rachael were so appreciated by our family.

We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

Loved our stay here. Godfrey and Crystal were both welcoming and very friendly. The cottage was delightful and extremely well appointed. We felt very comfortable. It is in a lovely peaceful setting. Our dog enjoyed his stay there too. We look forward to visiting again.

Let me just say, if i am ever in Tauranga again (from Florida), I know a fantastic B&B. Laura is a warm and welcoming host and her accommodation is clean, stylish, and comfortable. She is a detail person and it shows. We loved the neighborhood. Mount Maunganui was an easy drive and a great hike. The hot water pool at the base was relaxing. Laura cooked for us one night after a full day of activity. Delicious. Our stay at Laura's was a highlight of our NZ holiday.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Craig & Jens Place. It was easy to find and in such a beautiful location, Every thing you could think of had been catered for. Craig was so lovely and really enthusiastic about showing us around, felt very honored to meet and play with Major and Parker ( the 2 dogs) We would love to come back in the warmer months for a swim in the stream.

Lovely little room with a great view. We went knowing it was a room on one end of someones home so no surprises (I think this may have threw some reviewers). Waking up with a coffee and the view over the lake made it so we had trouble finding the will to leave in the morning. The host was responsive and gave us our privacy also.

Had an incredible stay here. It was very cozy, private and quiet, perfect way to relax and recharge. Everything you could need is available and easy to use. The outdoor bath was definitely a highlight of the stay. Will definitely come back again

Monique's place was warm, spacious and cosy. It was close to town but far enough away to feel like we were out in the countryside. Henry, her dog, is delightful - super friendly and made us feel instantly at home.

Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended! Very lovely space with a beautiful garden! You could use the fruits & veg from the garden to cook and there was some basic food available! A very nice plus :) Place has everything I needed (even a shopping bag!) and was very cozy! She also responded quickly when I had a question so definitely would recommend it!
