The apartment was roomy and comfortable. All the cabinets and light switches were conveniently labeled. The unit was well equipped with plenty of extra supplies, including towels, paper towels, and trash bags. All the cutlery, dinnerware, and cooking supplies were good quality. There was a fantastic blender and even a large crock pot. The king beds were very comfortable and the linens/bedding nice and cozy. I really liked the added touch of having a magnified mirror and special “makeup” wash cloths in the bath room. Both bathrooms were set up so that the toilet/ bath or shower could be closed off from the sink vanity…great for larger groups. The apartment is walking distance to most of the restaurants and bars in town an to the sightseeing boats on the St. Lawrence. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone interested in visiting Alex Bay.

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

The friendly staff at this apartment were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room is very clean and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious pizza and chicken wings at Sutha’s Pizza beside the apartment. Sutha and the staff who run this beautiful place really made our stay amazing. They make sure we had incredible time and we are planning to visit and rebook again in a couple of months.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

Great location for visiting the hospital. The unit was exactly as advertised and offered a relaxing and quiet locations to wind down. The unit was fully stocked and allowed us to prepare quick meals for the most flexibility during our stay. Fantastic, comfortable beds !! Andjela is very commnicative and excellent respose times with any questions or clarifications we needed. We really felt like our satisfaction was a priority and were never left waiting for anything. Thanks so much Andjela, we would definitely re-visit !

Dominique’s home is simply stunning and was the perfect place to stay while in town for our son’s wedding. The home was better than advertised and we will be back. Dominque is an excellent Airbnb host!

My friends and I stayed here for a couple nights, it was very clean and such cute decor. The area was so peaceful and quiet. A little further from the water than anticipated but overall wonderful stay and would definitely recommend for a restful getaway.

Kings Cottage was the PERFECT place for our family! Riley & Brian’s description was spot on! The location couldn’t have been better, less than five minute walk away from the Sunday Farmers Market, a playground for kids, and downtown Picton. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

A dream weekend! This home was perfect, and although we went for a short break for a wedding, we hope to come back because it was the PERFECT space. Denise and Mike, thank you again for your 24/7 availability, communication and most importantly, your wonderful home. One thing to note, there are downstairs neighbours, so important to be mindful and avoid bringing speakers, having TV loud or having passionate debates at 1am etc. Thank you so much for hosting us, and as past Airbnb hosts ourselves, you’ve set the bar! This is our second stay there within a months timeframe, this is how much we love this place! So beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. We just can’t say enough about this place and the host who is absolutely amazing to deal with. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next stay.

Our family of 8 enjoyed a peaceful weekend here. The house was spacious and accommodated all of us easily. We loved the beautiful views of Lake Ontario and sitting on the deck while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is quite a ways off the beaten track, but it was so peaceful and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We loved our stay at Doulas’ house!

A quiet place to rest your liver in between wine/beer/spirits/cider tasting. Great location, close to (as in you can leave your car in the parking) all kind of options for food, drinks, fun and more practical stuff.

Maria’s home was beautiful with a spectacular view right on the water. We enjoyed time on the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing in the bay. Maria was kind enough to provide us wood for the fire pit and the kids loved cooking s’mores at night. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Maria’s home was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Thank you Maria for being a wonderful host and sharing your beautiful home!
