This charming house offers 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds, 1 bunk bed and a large kitchen/living area. The house and baths are wheelchair accessible. Mountain Escape is located one mile from entrance to Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch and 1.5 miles from Sweden Creek Falls. We are a short drive to Boxley Valley where you can view Elk or float the Buffalo River. There is dirt road access to many popular hiking trails also. House has wifi and good cell signal along with access to a shop with air.

Its location is rich in history, being the original early homestead of Hezekiah and Elizabeth Villines, some of the very first settlers of the Boxley Valley. With a renovation beginning in 2011 and spanning over a decade, meticulous detail has been put into restoring this home with love and character, creating a space to enjoy all the valley has to offer.

Heavens Door LLC LONESOME ELK CABIN

Suitable for 2 adults in king bed in BR, 2 small children, or 1 small (short) adult on futon. Cozy cabin with a full kitchen with full-size appliances, ice maker, back deck with a porch swing, fire pit in backyard. All dishes and cookware, utensils, silverware, towels, sheets provided, just bring your food and drinks and clothes, charcoal for the grill. Just a few miles to the Buffalo River, and all the hiking trails. Sweden Creek Falls hiking trail is about 1 mile down the road.
