A lovely family homestay in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood—perfect for relaxing after exploring Osaka. Just 20 mins drive to Kansai Airport, ideal for your last 2 nights. Spacious Japanese authentic house with 4 bedrooms (one is a tatami type), 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen for light cooking, and a cozy verandah for family time. Clean and well-equipped, towels provided. 2 bicycles available. 7-Eleven is a 10-min ride away. Ground floor has 1 room with 2 queen sized beds. Can consider for old people. The young couple host is super friendly, responsive, and communicates clearly via Airbnb. He even offered to collect our luggage from Osaka city center and brought it to the house before check-in so we could enjoy shopping stress-free, truly thoughtful! Bonus : The host speaks fluent Mandarin, which made things even easier for us. Thank you so much! We felt at home and will definitely return next year for our family gathering. Highly recommended!
A wooden overhang constructed of bamboo and thatch is captured in the foreground. Lush greenery is visible in the background, featuring a dense arrangement of trees and shrubs. Natural light highlights the textured materials used in the architectural design.

Time travel to the Meiji era. Nature and historic buildings.

I don’t even know how to start – this place is so magical that I almost didn’t want to write a review, just to keep it to myself. Staying here was everything I dreamed of: a traditional Japanese house, nestled deep in the forest on a mountain, surrounded by stunning nature. It’s simple in the most beautiful way – grounding, peaceful, and full of atmosphere. We stayed in two separate houses, both spacious, clean, and incredibly cozy. Sleeping on tatami mats, cooking in the rustic kitchen, grilling at the fire pit – every moment felt special. Our host was warm and welcoming, and even checked in to see if we needed anything. A small note: don’t come with a large car. The narrow mountain road and the steep driveway are a bit of an adventure themselves – but they are absolutely worth it. This place touched us deeply and has become a true place of longing. We’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time. Thank you for sharing this gem with the world.

Aki-san is easily the best host we've ever had through airbnb. He not only offers his super cozy location, but is also your personal guide for your stay in Kushimoto and surroundings. He loves to show you around, even arranged activities for us and even dropped us off at our next location (1 hour drive!). Aki is very committed, patient and heartwarming. He is an example of how we want to live our lives. If you choose another stay in Kushimoto, you will lose anyway. DON'T HESITATE AND JUST BOOK!

Welcome to the guest house above the clouds. Highland View

This place was amazing! It is nestled in the mountain with the most spectacular view. The roads are extremely narrow and mostly single lane to the property, however it was completely worth it for the views, peace and tranquility. The photos don’t do it justice. Would love to come back!

We loved our stay at Lien de Premiere! The home was exactly like the photos and provided everything our family of 4 needed for our 7 night stay. Everyone had their own space and with the long days touring Japan, we needed this great place to come 'home' to each evening. The standard Family Mart and 7 Eleven are only a few blocks away, as well as a quaint little shopping area with a bakery, fresh fruit/vegetable stand, meat market and various shops with the friendliest people who were both kind and accommodating to us, though we didn't speak the same language. The closest train station was only a 5 minute walk away. We even found a couple of restaurants that we fell in love with. We would recommend a stay here to anyone who wants to experience a quieter stay within Osaka.
