Sue’s place was a gem. Easy walking distance from the bustling Hydra port and 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous swimming spot, restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous outdoors area with views of the mountain and had everything we needed. Sue was very responsive to our messages and offered to help with transport from the harbour. We are fit and strong but if you are not I would take her recommendation for a sea taxi or donkey. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the island and surrounding areas and has lots to offer in terms of travel planning beyond Hydra. We would definitely come again and understand why we met so many people who return to Hydra every year. As an extra bonus Sue also offered to do our washing for us and we woke to find clean clothes on the line waiting for us.

The apartments are beautifully styled and furnished, with everything you need and spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Great location, close to the beach and all of the restaurants. We would love to return again as Agistri is a favourite destination of our family.

Lovely, cosy apartment with great views of the ocean from the terrace. Eleni is a fantastic host - nothing is too much trouble, from renting a donkey for your luggage to providing a list of great restaurant recommendations. Surrounding area is lovely and quiet, but beaches and the port area are all within walking distance. A great base to explore the island from!

A perfect stay. Infinitely grateful to have been allowed to stay at Ruggero's place. An absolute dream and exactly what we were looking for. Private beach, a loving accommodation, boat access to Hydra, magical nature. Warmest recommendation to all.

Great option for a Hydra getaway. A stone's throw away from the stunningly beautiful harbour, an unparalleled view from sunrise to sunset, cosy interiors and fully equipped, Ioanna's place is the perfect birdnest for a couple - with excellent value for money. The fabulous terrace is on an upper floor (which was not so clear for us before reaching the place): there you'll enjoy marvellous breakfasts and aperitivos. Super silent: the only noise you might hear in the morning are the donkeys' hoofs clopping on the uphill marble stairs. If you're sensible to morning lights, you may need to find a way to cover couple of the windows. Just make sure you have a plan B for your internet connection in case you need it for major reasons (not recommended during holidays): the WiFi is not A-class, particularly in the bedroom. Overall, an unforgettable stay that we warmly recommend: thank you Ioanna for your welcoming and big smiles!

It was one of the best Airbnbs. Well organized, spacious room, clean bathroom with essential amenities. Highly recommend if you visit Hydra. One thing to mention is that if you bring a suitcase, take a seataxi. it only takes 15 minutes by walk from the port but with the suitcase it won't be easy.

I scheduled this trip at the last minute, and Kosta responded to my request quickly. He took time to show me how to get to the listing and provide such a thorough and welcoming introduction to Poros and his home. Dafni’s place is pretty with a great view of the harbour. The main Skala beach is also not really far, and the Megalochori beach is only a five minute walk. There’s a good restaurant and bar just around the corner and a lovely cafe/tavern a little further up the little hill. There are also two supermarkets nearby. It’s quieter than if you’d stay in a hotel at Skala but I really enjoyed my stay here - the only thing that bothered my friend and I was the bathroom. It’s really tiny and tough to keep dry because the water from the shower gets everywhere even with the curtains pulled around the shower area. There was also no towel provided to soak/clean the water - we just used one we found in the house. It would’ve also been nice to have some lights on the patio (or at least we didn’t find any) to be able to spend some time there in the evening as well. But all in all it was a good experience staying here :)

The space exceeded my expectations - great view of the mountain, big terrace, comfortable bed and a very peaceful vibe. Argiris and Eleni were lovely hosts - they arranged for a donkey to pick me up, helped with my washing and treated me to baked goods. Had a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful, bright and luxurious apartment as in the photos. In a quiet/private spot in the city but at the same time very close on foot to the port. Beautiful experience, the space with the hot tub on the roof. The host is polite, communicative and always available to resolve any unforeseen issues immediately.

We absolutely loved staying at Andrea’s’ place. The house and gardens were immaculately kept and so peaceful. The room was as beautiful, and stocked with everything you need including nice touches such as snacks, coffee, milk, juice and water - all replenished daily along with room cleaning. The bathroom was spotless with lovely toiletries. Andreas was such an attentive and friendly host - he had lots of great recommendations and really made us feel at home. We had such a great stay here and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Andreas's home is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at, the pictures don't do it justice. A peaceful oasis in the middle of town, walking distance to everything. Andreas is very welcoming and made us feel at home right away, going out of his way to greet us, show us around and give us recommendations to local restaurants and sights. If you are looking for a quiet slice of island life you can't do better than staying at Faidon's House. Located in a quiet pocket of Aegina away from the hustle of the port area, Faidon's House is a real treat. Numerous tavernas operated by some true characters are within a short walk as are several beach bars to while away the hours staring out at the beautiful horizon of glistening blue sea and stunning island vistas. Alkis is a superb host, responding immediately to any questions we had during our stay as well as sending over some recommendations for places to visit beforehand.

David was a brilliant host. Extremely helpful and responsive. Can't recommend the place enough, beautiful location and views.

We stayed for 10 days with our 1 year old son. Panos' place is so great we didn't want to go home! Very welcoming, friendly host and his mother is probably the nicest person in Greece! 10/10

We had the most wonderful time at Rafalias Mansion. The historic house is beautiful, the studios are spacious and equipped with everything you need (including snacks, water, beach towels and snorkel gear) and the garden is simply a dream! Because it was very hot, Andreas decided to open the jacuzzi a little earlier in the season, and it was a great way to relax after a hot day on the beach or in town. If we ever visit Hydra again, we will definitely be staying here again!

A legendary island; blue skies and azure waters; a charming, generous host; a secret garden fragrant with romance; crisp white sheets, and tiramisu in the fridge! What more could anyone want? We loved our stay at Rafalias Mansions, with its timeless beauty and olde world grace. Thank you, Andreas. It was perfect x
