Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. This cottage is private, even though it is next to our residence. It has a 6' privacy fence. Once inside the gate,you are met with beautiful landscaping and a view of Lake Isabella and the surrounding mountains that are well worth the drive.The cottage is set for 1-2 adults.

This house was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s beautifully built, clean, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming. The fireplace in the library was amazing and created such a cozy atmosphere, especially as we spotted deer through the windows. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare family meals, and the overall experience was worth every penny. The in-person tour with the property manager was incredibly helpful in navigating the expansive 7,000-square-foot space. This house made it easy to create core memories that will stay with us forever. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here as a family and will definitely be rebooking for future stays!

We stayed at the Flat for an event that took place a few blocks away. It was extremely convenient to be close to town, and the walk over to the main street is filled with shops & restaurants. Lindsay is a fantastic host and provided snacks, plenty of coffee pods, bottled water, and even a couple of coffee creamer options. She thought of everything! The first day the shower head broke, and Lindsay had a friendly plumber over to fix it extremely quickly. The decor is modern and super cute, the beds are comfy, with soft fluffy pillows, and the split ACs allow everyone to control their own room climate. Overall, a fantastic Airbnb experience. Thanks Lindsay!

If a slice of tranquility is what you need, look no further. Quailgate is the place. The house is very spacious, super clean, and tastefully decorated. The surrounding is very private and has a leisure country vibe with a small orchard. The kitchen is well stocked. The fridge provides ice and filtered water. Groceries and restaurants are just 10 mins away in Tehachapi. Central air/heat works great. Plenty of hot water for a good shower or a soak in the tub. And Shawn is a great host, very responsive and communicative.
