Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Very clean, fixtures and furnishings of a high standard. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep but still very peaceful. Amazing balcony on the edge of the sea.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

easy to access accommodation, very functional, super market, restaurants, beaches right next door, everything is very comfortable and Istron is 15 km from Agios Nikolaos and makes it easy to visit the east and south east side (with a vehicle of course). Alexandra is a lovely person and she offered us some vegetables and fruits from her garden. Thanks for hosting us

Had a great time here! Vasilis was very accommodating and the place came as expected. Clean, great views of the water, and centrally located to the shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommend!

We booked Michails place for the second time and will probably come back again. Our toddler daughter loved to run through the spacious apartment. The kids bed is great as well. One more thing: Michail replaced the broken washing machine with a new one after realizing that we planned on using it which was extremely helpful. Obviously the views are amazing and the location is great if you want to discover the beaches in the area. Also Ferma beach, which is just a 2 min walk away is very cozy and great for little children.

This place is honestly a 10/10, I’d totally recommend it and would gladly come back. One of the best accommodations we’ve stayed in so far. What I loved most was the access to the sea. It’s a bit rocky, but if you’re a confident swimmer and have water shoes, it’s no problem. You can just step out of the garden and get straight into the water. The house itself is really pleasant, well-ventilated and cool. We stayed in June and didn’t even need the air conditioner. Just opening the windows in the morning and then closing them once the sun hit was enough to keep things comfortable. The terrace is huge, we spent loads of time there and in the garden, which is nicely shaded by the trees out front. Inside, I really appreciated the furniture — it has a traditional, authentic feel to it, definitely not your average IKEA setup. And last but not least, the host was incredibly welcoming professional, and warm. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Small but comfortable house, priceless terrace with direct access to the beach with deck chairs and private umbrella. Well-stocked accommodation, unclear that the bathroom is accessed from the outside of the terrace but not bad and brushing your teeth observing the sea is still an experience. The managers of the Stefania tavern are also very good and very kind, very suitable for a mix of roast fish. Thank you for your impeccable hospitality.

We had a very nice time in Crete and in Marina's place! There were two of us with a child. In this respect, it was very convenient that Stalida beach is only a few hundred meters away on foot. The three of us could sleep well there and have breakfast on the terrace in the morning. We didn't cook - little elaborate food would have been possible. Parking is free directly on the street. The apartment is lovingly and nicely decorated and it was very clean. Communication with Marina is quick and easy. Arrival also possible with code. So happy to come back, warm recommendation. We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

Very comfortable two bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the shore with their own access to the water. A lot of good restaurants with in a walking distance.

We spent two wonderful weeks in Pinelopi's house at the end of May / beginning of June 2025. Everything is as described! The terrace is simply wonderful and beautiful in the countryside as well as with sea views. The location of the place is central and very, very quiet. Pinelopi is an excellent host! We were received personally and warmly. There was a bottle of olive oil, wine and raki as well as a plate of fresh fruit. In addition, several bottles of water. Particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness. Pinelopi is always approachable, and she also gives countless excursion and restaurant tips. Conclusion: We were completely thrilled Thank you again.

We enjoyed our stay! Location was great for getting to and from the airport and ferry port. Manos left helpful restaurant recommendations in the area, and even homemade cookies from his father. The space was great and I would recommend!

We loved the stay in Agios - Maria was very nice & flexible. Supermarket, lake, sea and restaurants surrounding the flat and the apartment is very sweet with everything u need for a couple of days in Agios. Nice balcony, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Very thankful for our time here :)

A beautiful room exactly as it appears in the photos. It was five-floor and provided everything mentioned in the information. Michaela is very friendly and gave us information about the area that facilitated our stay

the place was very nice and Maria was very hospitable. Her mom gave us delicious homemade cookies. The house looked as if someone is still living there. there were personal photos and what seemed like personal items. looked a lot like a "home". We had a lovely time. thank you Maria.

This is such a great place to stay in AN. Eleftheria met us on arrival and made us feel like family. Their property is pristine and with great lounge, kitchen and dining overlooking the marina. In 5 mins walk you are wherever you want to get to in the local area. There is a sheltered beach within walking distance. A gorgeous town and well appointed place to stay. Absolutely recommend

Beautiful spacious apartment with great modern design and with a unique sea view from the balcony (sea only about 20 meters away). Everything you need. The landlord is extremely friendly and always available. We felt very comfortable. There are lots of good restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. The free parking by the sea was also perfect. From there, you only need 5 minutes to the apartment. The beautiful bar near the bedrooms was always well attended and accordingly it was loud there until late at night. It's a matter of taste, but the beds were too hard for us. Otherwise, absolutely recommended! We felt very comfortable and always had a cozy breakfast on the balcony.

Staying in La Casita by Kleoniki was the best choice I could have made! The accomodation is very beautiful, clean, inspiring, has a lot of suggestive elements and It makes you feel at home from the first minutes! In addition, I really appreciated finding welcome food and drinks! The access street is very calm, and it is a crossroads of a main road, which have all the services you may need. It Is located less than 10 minutes walking from the port and less than 15 from Morosini Plaza. I really would recommend La Casita to everyone! Thank you Kleoniki, hope to come back soon!

Sofia and her dad Giorgos were great hosts, from meeting, explaining and taking the time to make great recommendations to checking in often, very much appreciated! We loved Iraklio (and Heraklion) and the flat had what the 4 of us needed to enjoy our stay. We spent our mornings and evenings on the decks and loved eating outside and drinking beverages. The recommendation for the Peskesi farm to table restaurant was spot on! The restaurant/cafes options in walking distance of the flat are plentiful and every place we tried was good. We walked everywhere, and took a city bus to the wonderful beach by the airport and the ferry excursion to Santorini one day. The archaeological museum is a stand out, and the history museum and Venetian Fortress were also great sites. Ended up skipping Knossos as the artifacts found were in the archaeological museum, so no opinion on that. We shall return to Crete some time and when staying in the area would gladly book with Sofia!

Wow what a fabulous apartment. The apartment is really well decorated mixing old and new - simply beautiful and really clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was fantastic. The balcony offers complete privacy too. The quality of the beds was great so a good night’s sleep! You are right in the heart of the town, beaches and shops are a short stroll away however the road is quite residential so super quiet. Our host Maria is super helpful and such a lovely lady Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone who wants the best of being in a town without the hustle and bustle of resort life
