This place creatively incorporates the historic parts of an olive mill with contemporary design. It was roomy and had everything we needed, but a minor thing, body wash would have been nice. Met the owner who was very nice and gracious. Loved being able to walk to 3 different great restaurants, a market, pharmacy and close proximity to Rethymno. It is strategically located between Chania and Heraklion, too. Definitely recommended!

Amazing view, the powerful beauty of nature in its full embodiment We loved the window in the bedroom and the rooftop with the swing bed that brought us so much joy. We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. Thank you Evi for an incredible stay at this beautiful house!

Nikos was an excellent host! He brought us fresh goodies and made sure we had everything needed. The home is beautiful and exactly has pictured. I recommend renting a car if you stay here as it is quite desolate location and not walkable to restaurants/shops.

Our stay at the villa in Crete was simply fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and communication with the hosts was friendly, quick and straightforward from the beginning. The villa itself was in perfect condition – very clean, high quality and modernly equipped and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bedrooms were cozy and air conditioned, and the outdoor area with pool was an absolute highlight. Here we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. There was even a ping pong table that provided a lot of fun and variety. The location of the villa is ideal: quiet and idyllic, but still close enough to beaches, taverns and shopping. We felt completely comfortable and were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Thank you for this unforgettable time, we highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Siriatis. Maria, Nektaria and Mathaios were the most wonderful and hospitable hosts you could ever imagine. The Villa is just beautiful. It is perfectly clean, bright and surrounded by olive trees with a stunning sea view. The area is completely quiet and there are many good tavernas and beautiful beaches nearby. We can highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely come back :)

Kitsa was very friendly and always available for all concerns. She also arranged a taxi and a private chef for us. The villa is beautiful with a fantastic view and very stylishly furnished. You really don't need anything. We'd love to come back!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We were there as a family with the grandparents. All three generations liked it very much. The heated pool is an absolute plus at the end of May and the hot tub right next to it makes the outdoor area perfect. The grounds are spacious, there is plenty of shade and the view is awesome. The sheltered barbecue area is perfect for breakfast and dinner. Particularly noteworthy, however, is the first-class service. Olga was always available, the jammed courtyard gate was repaired within half an hour and two employees come every morning, take the trash, clean the outdoor area and even the grill. There are many very good restaurants and all encounters were positive and friendly, we liked it very much.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa - it was the perfect place for our family trip and we felt instantly at home. The villa is in a stunning location, with incredible sea views. It has all of the amenities you could need. Stamatis was an excellent, communicative host and helped us with great local recommendations. We will be back!

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

Fantastic villa with beautiful pool and view. Downstairs at the sea you can watch nice snorkeling and fishing thanks to the super clear water. We and our kids enjoyed it. First village is 30 minutes drive so provide plenty of groceries.

Fabulous place to stay :)

This is a BEAUTIFUL place - the pictures do not do it justice. The combined kitchen and living area is HUGE, and so is the pool and outdoor space. All the bedrooms have ensuites and are identical, and all have the same view and access to the terrace. It is spotless. The place is just at the edge of a really quaint beach town. It is super quiet and peaceful, and a 2 minute walk away from a bunch of bars and restaurants. Sofia herself is a WONDERFUL host. She’s kind, welcoming, and so responsive. Stay here - the value for money is excellent, and it’s a fantastic little town.

The villa is stunning and looks exactly like the listed photos. The area is very remote, peaceful, and private. We had a lovely stay and would be delighted to come back again.

this is a great Villa to stay at in central Crete that made it easy to branch off to many other areas of the island the best part was the Villa itself with its swimming pool and the views. great place to stay close to the small village of margarite. highly recommend it's got to be one of the best places to stay in all of Crete. Michalis was a great representing host.

Top location Beautiful view Amazing

We had a great stay Antonios house. The house had everything we needed. It has very private grounds and amazing views of the area. Lots of outside spaces to find shade through the day. It’s a really generous space which wasn’t overlooked at all. The pool area was a big win. A previous reviewer mentioned mosquitoes but we didn’t see any the whole time we were there (mid- September). We’d definitely make a return visit. Thanks Antonios, we loved all your recommendations and appreciate your knowledge of the area.

This is a spectacular villa and easily matches the photos. One unexpected feature was that one of the two pools was shallow for the kids. That meant they could stand by themselves and they would play in it all day. The adults loved just lying in it too! Nikos was a great host. He welcomed us on to the property and was extremely responsive with our questions. He even delivered extra pool toys and Greek treats during our stay. The area is very private with a short drive to supermarkets and some classic waterfront restaurants. It’s also convenient to get to Chania airport. We loved our stay here as two families, it exceeded our expectations and would strongly recommend.

We loved our stay here, it was everything we could have wanted and more. Such a warm welcome with an assortment of delicious homemade food, fruit and local Raki. The villa layout was perfect for our family (2 adults and 3 kids) and as everyone’s said, the view out over the sea is spectacular- I’d never tire of that view! If we ever needed anything Aris and the team were always on hand to help. The villa is so well equipped too, and even plenty of condiments, which is such a thoughtful touch. The area around Plakias is relatively quiet compared to places in the North, but that suited us well. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in Plakias and being able to have a meal together, right on the seafront is what holidays are made of. We didn’t have a bad meal out - best was probably Taverna Dionyssos, up in the hills behind the town. Highlights for me would be morning coffee on the terrace looking out at that amazing view and snorkelling in the cove just below the villa. Heaven
