Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Très beau logement moderne, avec beaucoup de place et très bien équipé. Quartier résidentiel calme, tout à proximité de l’arrêt de Tramway menant à la gare et au centre ville (en 20-25 minutes) Un supermarché à 2 pas. Très bonne communication avec l’hôte.

Nous avons passé des merveilleuses vacances chez Willems, je ne m’attendais pas à être dans sa maison mais tout est fait pour y être à l’aise. Un petit livret est posé afin qu’on sache quoi faire dans les environs. Ça aide beaucoup et il est super réactif lorsqu’on lui demande comment accéder à un endroit. Merci encore

Ausgefallene Ferienwohnung mit Liebe zum Detail. Jeder Quadratmeter der kleinen Souterrain-Wohnung wird optimal genutzt, alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Amsterdam-Besucher, die es zeitweise ruhiger haben wollen. Gute 20 Minuten Fahrzeit mit dem Bus 316 ins Zentrum von Amsterdam, dieser fährt laufend. Von der Wohnung zum Hafen sind es nur 200 Meter und man kann auch in der Region Volendam als Abwechslung zum Stadtrubel viel unternehmen. Bei unserem viertägigen Aufenthalt hatten wir uns für einen Ausflug mit dem Boot auf die Insel Marken entschieden. Sehr sehenswert. Nettes kleines Frühstück mit Kaffee, Tee, Aufbackwaren, Marmeladen und Eiern für die komplette Aufenthaltsdauer vorhanden. Aufgrund der perfekten Beschreibung und der guten und schnellen Kommunikation von Johan mit allen notwendigen Angaben konnte alles ohne persönlichen Kontakt so geregelt werden. Wir waren 2 Erwachsene mit 2 18-jährigen Mädels. Alle waren begeistert. Vielen Dank für alles.

Such a stunning appartment, me and my boyfriend couldn't get over how lucky we were to find this place! The Host Japser and his partner were incredibly nice, and nothing was too much trouble for them, so we really appreciate that. It's about a 15/20tram ride into the centre, so it's nice and easy. But the ammonites around the apartment are lovely too. Thank you for having us Jasper, it was amazing!

Wir haben vier Tage Amsterdam erkundet und das Haus war dafür perfekt. Ruhige Lage, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Man kann ganz entspannt zu Fuß (ca. 25 Minuten) zur Fähre (umsonst) gehen und dann in die Innenstadt von Amsterdam fahren. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Man hat sich direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus war außerdem sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Mijntje war super. Sie hatte tolle Tipps für die Gegend. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, gerne wieder!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt im Bauernhaus von Judith. Die Austattung war absolut ausreichend und das Frühstück wurde unseren Wünschen entsprechend angepasst. Wir hoffen, dass es eine weitere Möglichkeit geben wird, erneut bei Judith und ihrer Familie zu buchen. Trotz der integrierten Tür, welche durch das Haupthaus führt, hat man seine Privatsphäre, da man die Aufenthaltsräume für die Gäste über eine Treppe erreicht, die den Bereich abtrennen. Für Reiseziele wie bspw. Amsterdam ist die Location super geeignet (mit Auto). Es gibt für nicht all zu weite Reisen auch einen Bus, welcher in der Nähe abfährt.

Giulia’s place is well located, especially if you want to visit west Amsterdam. The place is cosy and peaceful. Very smooth communication with Giulia. Thank you!

Beatrice Wohnung ist besonders, mit 2 schmalen Balkonen, grosser Wohnküche und zu dritt perfekt. Auch ins Zentrum oder zum Bahnhof kann man zu Fuß gehen (oder ganz nahe am Haus mit dem Bus losfahren). Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Judy is a fabulous bed and breakfast host! She was attentive, punctual, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond any bnb experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this place for the hostess with the hostess as well as the location.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive, and made sure instructions were clear. The location was convenient and quiet, with easy access to shops and restaurants. It felt like a home away from home. I recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again. Overall, very good experience all around!

Dids place was exceptional! Don’t hesitate to book. Apartment is adorable with very comfortable bed. Close to everything. Make sure you have brunch at Un.Commin directly across the street. Dids was so friendly and helpful. A lovely woman. Felt very welcome in her well stocked home. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Merci pour ce beau séjour à Amsterdam! Le déjeuner compris était complet et délicieux, et l’hôte était toujours à notre écoute et nous donnait de bonnes recommandations. Très gentil et serviable! 100% nous recommandons cet hébergement. Il se trouve à 30 minutes environ du centre, ça se fait très bien avec seulement 1 métro à prendre.

Elly and Simon's place was perfect for our 4 night stay. So nice to have a private little outside sitting area looking over the fields. Having the bikes was marvelous, we cycled to the beach through the forest (get Elly to give you directions) and stopped in the local towns for cafes, a fabulous lady day of the Keukenhof season, just a few minutes away by bike. We cycled along the peaceful, safe canal path to the Hillegom station to go to Haarlem for the day (and the train goes on to Amsterdam from there too). The bed was comfy, the shower was warm and clean and the wifi and TV worked fine. We used the aircon as is did get warm up in the loft bedspace but that was fine too, very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a very well equipped and well located space with lovely hosts.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen. Kon altijd bij haar terecht.schoon en netjes. Het uit de ramen kijken is schitterend. Etersheim is heel landelijk .je komt helemaal tot rust

This was one of the most impressive Airbnb‘s I ever stayed & we felt incredibly lucky having booked Dirkjan‘s home!!! ♥️ Everything was even nicer than described & the garden was beautiful & huge & a great contrast to Amsterdam. A well looked after oasis! The view from the upper room was beyond words.. Dirkjan went above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible- communication was great, check-in simple & professional & the breakfast was incredible. We really love(d) the place & felt immediately at home. The cats & the duck offspring in the garden were a real delight & Dirkjan‘s love for the place - his father‘s legacy- could be felt throughout our stay.. Furthermore we could witness the host‘s talent - a great musician indeed & we thoroughly enjoyed an unexpected breakfast concert which made our stay an unforgettable lifetime experience! ♥️ THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! ♥️

Irmi is awesome! She is super friendly and willing to help with anything you want. There is a breakfast included but you can choose whether you want it or not. There are groceries nearby and walkable. But bus stop is nearby too, easy to get to the Almere central and you can easily to go to Amsterdam or Utrecht. The neighborhood is nice, peaceful. Almere is the quite city if you like staying at peaceful place. Almere center is huge and super perfect for shopping! There is lot of space for u to shopping, not crowded at all. And there are many shops there like Amsterdam. I would recommend it if you want to shopping on your last days. So you will not be tired. Also there are 2 cats in the house and they are super cute!
