Vacation rentals with lake access in Kearney

The place was a beautiful cottage, very well decorated and extremely clean! The place had everything you could ever need and Ryan and Bryan were extremely quick to respond and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Hilltop Hideout. Sandor was an excellent host, responded to every question I had within an hour, and provided great details on activities and essentials in the area. The locaton is beautiful and with all of the extra equipment and items that the house has, you are bound for a great vacation. Would stay again, 10/10 experience.

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

Stella is friendly, responsive and flexible! The place is exactly what it looks like in the pictures in that it is clean and has everything you need for a weekend getaway, right by the lake. The best part definitely was the ample amount of boats and supplies for a group of 5 (or even more) to enjoy and use at the same time. We had lots of fun exploring the lake. Must go out on the Kayaks and the Canoe!!! 🛶 One small thing, the neighbourhood does have a bit of a winding drive which can get a bit confusing, especially on your way out. And there’s not much to do within a 15 min drive. But hey, if you just want peace, serenity, and lake views, it’s tough to beat Stella’s spot.

Great rental location , everything you need was made available or within driving distance. The cottage is spacious and allows for a lot of light which is beneficial for those looking for a stay indoors with a view.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Stephen's lovely lakefront cottage. The views were stunning, the cottage modern and cozy. I would definitely come back to explore the area again in the future. It provided a great haven for a peaceful getaway.

Beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. One of the most amazing views I've ever had at a cottage. So many windows that can open to let the beautiful sunshine and breeze in. Fans, AC and heat allowed for perfect temperature control.

My best friend and I were looking for a place to go for a girls getaway. We both desperately needed to relax and unwind. Devon’s place was exactly what we hoped for. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. If you need peace, are looking to rest and relax or even go someplace close to amenities but that still feels secluded Devon’s little slice of heaven is exactly the spot you need. We will definitely be booking for a future girls trip for sure! 💗 5⭐️ place!

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

Had a wonderful stay! Hunt was super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and comfortable. The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, with stylish furniture that made it feel cozy. Located in a peaceful neighborhood, it was also just a short, pleasant walk to the city—perfect for exploring. Check-in was quick and easy, and the host even provided some great local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our first visit to this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful! Lesley and Ian were incredibly friendly, responsive, and hospitable throughout. The home itself is a serene retreat with stunning green views, and it was clean. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the availability of kayaks, which added to our enjoyment. Their flexibility and support regarding checkout, even allowing us to enjoy the outdoor space after the checkout time, made our stay even more relaxing. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to our next visit!

This was our fourth visit!! We have now stayed in all four rooms and we were in the King’s Den this time!! It felt like coming home as we were greeted with a hug from Taurean and Robert. We had a peaceful three night stay where we spent our time relaxing on the dock, in the hot tub and paddling the river in the paddle boat. Looking forward to our next visit. Glad to have found this little gem!!

Jessica’s place was incredibly spacious and featured a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed—including a patio barbecue. We stayed during a heat wave, and the air conditioning kept the space perfectly cool. The hosts were attentive and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, excellent value for the money—I would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Our 2 night stay was most pleasant. Brett and Heather's accommodation was super clean, classy and comfortable A beautiful condo, so tastefully decorated. A great 40th anniversary getaway too! Steve and Bernadine

I can’t say enough positive reviews regarding this airbnb…it is definitely one of my favourites! I had the pleasure of meeting Susan at check in and she is a lovely host. Her airbnb was so clean, spacious, well equipped and beautifully located on Lake Vernon. The space is the bottom of her home which is a walk out with windows across the front so you can see the lake at all times. The bed and linens were super comfortable and the unit had full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, microwave and lots of amenities. Her property has over 100’ feet of water front with a beautiful dock that I spent hours sitting on…it was so peaceful & relaxing! I also went swimming in Lake Vernon which was refreshing as the temp was very quite warm (bottom was all sand) Susan made sure there was lots of AC for my comfort level. I stayed for 3 nights but wanted to stay all summer! I highly recommend this Airbnb and I hope to return again!

Great place to get away. Enjoyed relaxing days on the dock and kayaking the lake. Easy to get into town. The space itself is beautiful. Large windows but still a cottage charm. The hosts were incredibly responsive! Would happily stay here again.

Great stay at a lovely cottage. Cottage is quiet and private. There are a lot of things to do from kayaking, canoes, local beaches and downtown Huntsville right by.

We had a great stay at Jonathan’s place! Everything was just as described, Jonathan was quick to respond all of our questions. The kitchen amenities were top notch, it had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. We also really enjoyed the new bbq grill. The location was easy to find. The house has an amazing view of the lake, which is great for swimming and kayaking. I’d definitely recommend Jonathan’s place!

This stay was exactly as advertised! Clean and accessible. It felt so far away from reality with lakes calmness and privacy but was so conveniently located. The helpful amenities and fully stocked kitchen helped greatly. Thanks for a wonderful stay, can’t wait to stay again soon!

Beautiful, serene surroundings. Cozy, tastefully decorated cottage. We loved sitting out on the balcony looking out at the water and watching all the watercraft go by. From the welcome message and chocolates to the beautiful sunsets and everything in between, we had a terrific getaway! All the reviews for this cottage are spot on.

Our group had a wonderful stay at the cottage! Cassidy was very communicative and the amenities were top notch - we enjoyed the lakefront view, kayak, sauna and hot tub. Fresh towels and laundry within the cottage made everything super convenient. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We very impressed with our Accommodations. We were attending a family wedding at the inn across the street. The location was perfect! The lake was very accessible… just across the street!

We couldn't hope for a better peaceful and quiet getaway to spend time as a family. Our toddler was the happiest exploring the big garden and looking at the lake and birds from the big windows. The place has all you may need for BBQ'ing, cooking, relaxing outside and inside too when the days are chiller thanks for the beautiful easy-to-use stove. The beds were comfy and waking up looking outside thru the big windows was just the best way to start the day. We would definitely come back, especially because the host was very responsive, helpful, and polite. We feel very thankful to have spent time at her place.
