Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quiet at about 360 m altitude. Nearest EK stores are 3.5 km away. The castle Hohenstein (over 800 years old, 150 m away) offers castle festivals for six weeks in the summer and is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00 for. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 minutes away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig", "Burgensteig", "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" can be reached quickly. Guests with bikes get their money's worth, e-bikes would be great.

Die offene Atelierwohnung im Torhaus ist Teil einer ausgebauten Hofreite aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Alte Hölzer und freigelegtes Fachwerk sind von Rosenstöcken und einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier. Dadurch bekommt die offene Architektur ihren besonderen Stil sowie den freundlichen und eigenen Charakter.

Lahn and Rhine with its countless castles and old towns can be reached in 15 minutes. Rheingau, Rheinhessen/Nahe and Mosel with their world-famous wines invite you to excursions. The cities of Limburg, Koblenz, Wiesbaden (all about 35 km) and offer many sights. Frankfurt, Cologne and Trier are also easily accessible.

Apartment Haus Herzblick directly at the pilgrimage path "Herzweg des Friedens" "Haus Herzblick" is a 150 year old cottage. My husband Roman and I have now renovated this cottage and lovingly prepared with a lot of heart to a completely newly equipped bright apartment with 70m² on the ground floor. The rooms named: the source, at the moment, the life story, etc. inspire their themes. It was a heartfelt concern to bring out some heartbreaking and heartbreaking.
