We stayed here 1 night with friends. Within walking distance of the Twiske. Tirsa is a superhost. Super hospitable, responded very quickly to our questions, everything we needed was present and more. We'd love to come back! 😊

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Everything worked super easy and smoothly. The apartment is in a very nice location. The beach can be reached in a few minutes' walk and you can take the train to the center, which is also just around the corner. The apartment is cozy, clean and as described. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. It was really nice to unwind and enjoy The Hague.

Annete is a great host and her place is highly recommended. Everything you need (grocery stores, bars, restaurants, train station to Amsterdam) is close by. The cottage is very quiet, with a small front garden. We had a very nice week there. The surroundings are picturesque, the sea and the beach are super clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, we lacked nothing in the house. The water is very good and soft. There is a vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, kettle, coffee maker. You have to remember that the rooms have no doors and the stairs up are very steep, so that a toilet visit at night is hardly possible. But it didn't bother us. We will be happy to come back!!!

There is no way to top the location of this apartment. Walking distance to the beach, the Strand and the many restaurants on Keizerstraat.

If you are wanting to stay anywhere in this area, this amazing home is the place to be. The location is in the heart of the beautiful historic village. The home is stocked as well as you would want your own to be. The beds are very comfortable and the view upstairs is like something out of a storybook, and considering the extent that this historic farmhouse has been restored and re-imagined... it is. The furnishing and decor should be in a magazine. From Corrie’s warm welcome and the apple tart on arrival to coffee and meals on the patio with a lovely view of the church tower, we had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Easy walking and biking distance to the working windmill, delicious restaurants, ice cream, and the ferries. Quite a highlight of our time in the Netherlands. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We (5 friends+1 dog) had very nice days at the place. Great quiet rural location - surrounded by nature. Nevertheless, the way to Amsterdam is quick and easy (small tip: there is a ferry). Victor and his wife are very friendly and uncomplicated. So if you need some peace but still want to quickly get to the city or do other activities, this is the place to be. Edam and Volendam are also highly recommended. In addition, a day trip to the North Sea is also worthwhile ;-) We will be happy to come back.

Great place and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything worked out for us ☀️

Patricia and Patrick's place is really highly recommended. Everything you need is available, it was super clean and the showers on the square were also very neat. Super nice and helpful landlords, a manageable space and the icing on the cake of the fence around the caravan. We were there with a dog and really appreciated it. From here, dream beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car, which you can drive to no matter... a dream! We will definitely come back 😎

Jolanda & Koos are great hosts! Very helpful, friendly, quick and easy to reach. They know the area very well, have great suggestions for excursions, beaches, etc. Important information in advance about the hall or free ad next door. Here are the opening hours, as with most other public swimming pools for Germans very irritating, if not annoying. The baths are sometimes only open 1 or 2 hours a day. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon. Sometimes everyone is allowed, sometimes only parents with children up to max. 4 years. That was quite annoying for us, especially in bad weather. However, this was very limited and we were able to go to the wonderful beaches near Ouddorp almost every day. Really awesome! We are Jolanda and Kloos, very grateful for the beautiful 10 days and send many greetings from southern Germany.

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

We had amazing stay at Rik‘s place. Lots to do. Kids really enjoyed.

We had a very nice time and were able to relax quickly thanks to the good accommodation. The amenities were great and we could use everything with two children without any problems.

Great Host and great Stay. Easy Kommunikation. We did go sailing with a skipper the host kindly arranged for us, wich was a great experience.

Our stay can be described in one word: EXCELLENT!!! Maaike is a great host! She is easily approachable, is incredibly welcoming. Her service is beyond amazing! We know one thing for sure, we'd love to come back here again!

It was a great stay, feeling right at home and a safe area. lots of friendly locals to help with any questions about the area. Wouter is a great host and would recommend highly!

We were on site with two dogs and everything worked great. The room was very spacious and we felt comfortable right away. We had a great conversation with Irene and she took great care of our well-being. The surroundings are very nice for dog owners. You can walk to the beach, to the dunes, to the small shopping street or to various restaurants. We will be happy to come back.

Me and my best friend including two dogs were more than satisfied with this place. Small but nice is fine. The accommodation has everything you need and it was very clean for the price absolutely recommended we will be happy to come back !

We felt very comfortable at Lenneke's. The decor is Dutch cozy, the kitchen is superbly equipped and the location is perfect for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

We stayed at Ton & Marinka's for 4 nights in May 2025. The accommodation is in a larger building that used to be a barn and was converted in the back of the apartment. There is another vacation home on the grounds and the private home of Ton & Marinka. Nevertheless, we had 100% of our privacy. The accommodation was stocked with everything you need for a shorter vacation (cooking utensils, towels, etc.) All in all, the apartment was clean and the interior is well maintained and in good condition. Due to the proximity to nature and the old walls, you have to expect many spiders, which can be quickly removed with the existing vacuum cleaner. We were very warmly welcomed and Ton gave us very nice tips for the area. By car, we were at the beach in 5 minutes. The place is not particularly touristy or lively (quiet downtown), but very sweet with beautiful cottages and nature. We will be happy to come back!

What a fantastic time we had here! For three days, we enjoyed a beautiful tiny house, with everything you need – furnished with so much love by Danielle and Simon. Everything has really been thought of! The location could not have been better: In five minutes we were already standing with our feet in the sand on the beautiful beach of Noordwijk. Sun, sea, beach – and tranquility. Our children, Till and Theo, had great fun with the board games and were completely thrilled with the soap bubbles. So simple, so beautiful! Thank you for the warm hospitality and the great atmosphere. We immediately felt at home. It was a stay to remember – and certainly one we would love to repeat in the future. Kind regards👋
