Our experience in this place was AMAZING ! The hosts are the sweetest and ready to help any time They can get reservation for activities that is memorable (volcan, boat) We were really surprised by the atmosphere of the place; perfect room, and sublime decoration with a very private vibe, we loved it It is set right in the middle of the vineyard that gives a real south of France vibe It is really close to Fira and the airport which made everything super convenient We loved staying here and wished it was longer ! Avgi’s place was perfect! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oia but avoid the busy crowds. We stayed 3 nights – the apartment was beautifully decorated, super clean, and had everything we needed. There were 3 of us, and even the sofa bed was huge and comfy! The sunset views were incredible – you can relax on the terrace and snap your photos without anyone stepping into your shot. Bonus: access to the pool at Oia Sunset Villas! Avgi was so lovely and responsive (thanks for being so patient with all my questions 😅), and the receptionist who checked us in was super helpful too. Also, thank you Avgi for the ice cream from Lolita Gelato – honestly, one of the best we’ve ever had! Only tip: rent a car if you can. The walk into Oia is 10–15 mins, and at night it’s not very well lit or signposted. But with a car, it’s a breeze! Overall – peaceful, beautiful and totally worth it. Would stay again in a heartbeat! 💙✨

Our stay at Amantes Amentes was really exceptional! Kostas and his parents are extremely friendly and helped us with all our issues. The apartment was right at the beach, very clean and had literally everything we needed. I recommend anyone who wants to stay here to rent a car to get around because the apartment is far away from the popular cities. Thank you Kostas and big thanks to your parents for everything ♥️

Have a great stay at Angela's! The place was perfect, very clean, well-equipped. Various shops and restaurants within walking distance, and Fira within a 10 min drive. Parking is available in the courtyard of the residence. The hot tub was great, sunny in the afternoon and with a view of Fira! But above all, thank you again to Angela, for her kindness, her recommendations, her responsiveness, her proactivity and her advice. She asked us every day to see if everything was going well, and when we needed something, everything was fixed in a few hours, all with lots of thoughtful touches!

What an amazing stay and a truly amazing person. We feel so blessed to be so taken care of, every single thing about the lagadi suites. We were actually relocated and spent two nights as we loved it so much. The accomodation and communication was outstanding. We felt so safe and looked after, we could not ask for me. If you want to have the best experience in Greece, you must stay at Lagadi!

Takis is really nice and helpful. We arrived pretty late and he still came to greet us and show us the house. He also left us with some bottles of water. The house itself is very lovely

Antonis could not have been more welcoming. And more importantly when needed an urgent hospital visit, insisted on organising lift with friend, accompanying us and then helping with translation in hospital. Quiet, private, convenient for beach, buses and restaurants and excellent bakery also not far. Bonus of bikes and rooftop loungers with sun umbrella. Food and drink in fridge on arrival, Antonis the perfect host.

After having spent a couple of days in Oia, we wanted a more quiet experience in a traditional cave house. This place is a true gem. A unique experience in a 400 years old newly renovated cave house, the kids loved their little separate cave as well and the pool is lovely. In hindsight I would have skipped staying in Oia, and just stayed in this house with a rental car instead. This way you’ll get the best of both worlds.

We absolutely loved staying here as a family. It was away from the super busy hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira but still close enough to everything by way of a short car ride. The red beach and big black sand beaches are all relatively close. Oia is a bit of a drive but really this place is centrally located to everything on the island. The airport is only about 12-15 minutes away too. We loved the quietness of the place. We watched some English speaking channel on tv one day. We loved the pool (huge and all to ourselves). The place is even prettier than the pictures and the huge outside patio was great for us to hang out after we had worn ourselves out during the day and just wanted to rest and spend time as a family or even at night to watch the stars. It overlooks a vineyard and is peaceful and calm. There is a busy road out front but you can’t hear it in the apartment. Be sure to write the name of the property in your gps when arriving. The rest is cake. Book now!

Our stay at ALERIA LUXURY CAVE was great. Dream accommodation, very clean, neat down to the last detail. Architecture, design, modernity while respecting the place. A little piece of heaven! Stavroula made us feel right at home and helped us with suggestions. Always available and sunny. The location is quiet and well connected, minutes from the beach. In a word: a waking dream We highly recommend this place. Thanks, much appreciated

We loved our time in Santorini and our time here was a huge part of what made it so lovely. It was so incredibly quiet and private. Yes, the villa is part of a hotel but it is the one villa there and it is a bit higher and definitely more private. There are no hordes of people nearby (closest was a rocky outcropping, probably a couple hundred meters away where a small group of people would go to watch the sunset but it was well off to the side and didn't really affect the privacy). The villa is at the highest point of the hotel so you don't have anyone looking down onto your area. The villa itself was nice. Clean and smelled good (we were a bit worried about musty/humid spaces). We would go back for sure and 100% do not regret staying there vs going to a more touristy part of the island. The management helped us rent a car (met us at the airport and we dropped off at the ferry dock; 100% the way to rent a car). More to say, but running out of characters. Just go - you'll love it!

This villa is immaculate, spacious, and ideal for families, offering ample privacy while nestled on a serene hillside. Located near the charming village of Vourvoulos, guests will enjoy easy access to Rozas, an exceptional local restaurant, as well as a small market for daily essentials. The main road connecting to Fira and other villages is less than five minutes away by car—an incredibly convenient feature. Each morning began with breathtaking sunrises, with the island of Anafi visible across the Mediterranean Sea. Olga and Vanda exceeded all expectations—graciously accommodating us despite flight delays, assisting in the recovery and delivery of lost luggage, arranging car and ATV rentals, recommending restaurants, and even delivering fresh produce, olive oil, and wine. Their warmth, generosity, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. They are salt-of-the-earth people, and it was a genuine pleasure to interact with them throughout our stay.

The location here is as good or better than the best hotels on the island but the cave and terraces are unparalleled!

Stamatina, is such a gracious host! She gave us recommendations right from the beginning, she helped us with a laundry service, she helped us book a wonderful massage. The place is beautiful and pristine! The view of the water is nice and we really enjoyed the use of a car (you have to stay at least 5 nights for this amenity). Stamatina was very quick to reply to my What's App messages. Just an amazing host all around. Her staff are really great too and can't say enough nice things about the people that keep it going. We were picked up at the port when we arrived and dropped off at the airport when we left promptly and on time! The breakfast they bring over is delicious and plenty of food. Some kind sof eggs, homemade jam and breads. In fact, we would usually eat at 9:00am and then go eat dinner around 4:00-5:00pm and be good for the day. If you are looking at other places just stop right now and book this one. It was definitely in our top 5 of places we have stayed at!

Truly I do not think I could say enough good words about our stay. We visited Santorini on our honeymoon and truly had the most magical stay at Thea!! The spot was perfect: nice and clean inside with STUNNING views, just wow! Maria was also such an amazing host. She had so many recommendations for the island. She also helped arrange all our car transfers (one last minute) with ease. Breakfast was also brought to our room every morning and it was the perfect touch. We felt so relaxed and taken care of during our stay! We will certainly be back 💗

This was one of the best air bnbs we have stayed in Santorini! Voula was an amazing host! Water pressure was great to shower, beds were comfortable to sleep, amazing views from the outside jacuzzi and rooms. The ac worked very well and we all slept like babies. When we come back we will stay here again! It is in the perfect location to travel everywhere in the island

We highly recommend this villa. Staying in Vourvoulos is definitely a different feel than staying in Oia, Fira or even Imiravigli. This villa puts you in the heart of the non-touristy Greek culture, which is what we were looking for. There are only 2 or 3 restaurants and a couple small markets that are easily walkable, but that was part of the charm. Here, you are staying in a more traditional community. You can hike up to Imiravigli (up hill) or take a taxi and from there be with the crowds and the tourist stuff. Here, you'll see the sunrise, not set so be sure to wake up early for it. The only issue we had was that the jacuzzi was having issues, but as the owner of a jacuzzi at home, we know things like that are unavoidable. Kostas did a great job of sending someone out to fix it as quickly as possible, and when it took longer than expected, worked it out for us to use another one nearby. So despite the issue, we still give a top rating. Great place! Thank you Kostas.

We loved Antonia's place. The place was better than the pictures that were on the website. Antonia was very responsive. She left us some goodies when we checked in as well as a greek delicacy that was left on the kitchen table. It was delicious. Beds were comfortable, coffee maker, toaster oven, kettle and stove available for use. We loved the balcony, very quiet and great view of the water. Excellent way to enjoy your morning coffee in the morning. I would recommend her place to all who are considering travelling to Santorini. Thank you Antonia for a wonderful stay. We felt like we were staying with family.

This is a great apartment in a good location - right by the beach front with lots of bars and restaurants. It’s also right by the bus stop to Fira, and from there you can travel to other locations. Margarita was a great host who gave us great recommendations and was so helpful in organising transfers to/from the airport and port. The flats itself was really nice with some nice outdoor space.

Near to Fira central . Apartment is old but okay to stay and spend night. Nicholas is very nice host.

The home: Beautiful and extremely clean cycladic house just like the photos in a very quiet neighborhood with killer views. The only caveats are is that the second bedroom is not connected to the main house and is up another flight of stairs which may work for some. The other is there are many steps to house which may be an issue for those with mobility difficulties. However, if you want to experience the cave home in a quiet area, I highly recommend this home. The host: Nikos was an excellent host, extremely responsive, and provided us with a lot of suggestions and information about the area. The area: Not too far from the port and Kamari beach. There are a few wineries close by and within walking distance if you can manage stairs. Also, the bus is close by on the main road, but do recommend renting a car. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Hands-down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in — and I’ve stayed in quite a few! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special. The home is absolutely charming, full of beautiful architectural details that make you feel like you’re truly in Santorini. It was perfect for two couples — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was just the right size and generously stocked, and having a washer and dryer was such a bonus after traveling. The views? Absolutely unmatchable. Honestly, there’s no need to go anywhere else to catch the sunrise or sunset — just step outside and take it all in. Pyrgos itself is a gem — quiet, picturesque, and filled with charming churches, cafés, and shops. But what truly sets this stay apart is our host, Dimos. He took care of everything from the moment we booked until the moment we left. His hospitality and attention to detail are simply unmatched. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. Book it!
