South Coast Secret - Amazing views near Red Rocks

Looking for something special on the edge of Wellington? This place is the best of both worlds, close enough to the airport and city, and within the nature reserve at the red rocks. A short stroll to the Coffee cart in the Red Rocks car park, or some excellent hiking tracks for the more adventurous. Unlimited fibre internet and access to Netflix via Vodafone tv. There are not many places in Wellington with a 270 degree view of the Ocean, please check out the guest feedback for more info.

An historic cottage in a sheltered dell in the country near Makara Beach, fully restored Te whare iti is 10-15 minutes walk from the rugged Makara coast and roughly 35 minutes from the Wellington CBD. The preserved exterior enfolds very clean, warm and comfortable modern amenities. Importantly- you must provide your own transport as there is no public transport to Makara from Karori the nearest suburb, some 9.5 kms away. Makara is true NZ countryside with a windy, narrow road to match!.

Come and enjoy our lovely one bed-roomed apartment. We have a modern new kitchen and spectacular views of the central city. We provide some breakfast food and there is unlimited WiFi available. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher. Public transport (trains and buses) is a 10-15 minute walk and it is a ten-minute drive from the central city. There are also lovely local restaurants and beautiful walks on the Northern walkway, Mt KauKau and Trelissick Park.
