This is country house retreat is just 2 hrs drive from Vienna and perfect for a large family or group of friends. Located in the Waldviertel area, this country house is nestled in the Austrian countryside surrounded by forest and the great outdoors. The nearest swimming lakes 15 min drive and ski village just 6 mins drive away. This spacious 3 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom house is great for exploring the nearby lakes, ski resorts, forest, wineries, restaurants and nature hikes.

Permaculture Garden in the Novohrad Mountains

The natural herbal garden is surrounded by wild and undiscovered Novohrad Mountains offers guests a place for several tents with backdrops. My priority is to give guests privacy, so a maximum of 12 people are staying together. At night, it's completely dark and the sky full of stars, the wind swims in deep forests, and it carries earthy scents. While wandering, you'll discover deep forest pits, lakes, and many mysterious spots in extinct villages.

Our vacation home is located in a small village in the beautiful Waldviertel highlands, approx. 1.5 hours by car from Vienna. In the surrounding area, there are extensive meadows and forests. The lovingly designed stone house offers modern comfort and a cozy ambiance. In the region there is a lot to discover all year round. The place is great for couples, families and small groups. Look forward to relaxing days in a lovingly furnished apartment and smell the good forest air, near Bad Leonfelden. The cozy accommodation invites you to relax after an extensive forest walk or one of the numerous hiking routes in the nearby area. You share the main entrance with us and our Labrador Paco. Our chats

Our cottage is located on a semi-remote in a forest by the Stropnice River. While this may not be the case at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they can't be seen from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by a crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the patio. There's no wifi in the cabin, so enjoy your time together.
