We stayed 5 nights at Cecilia Cottage and did not want to leave once our time was up. A beautiful and peaceful apartment that felt homely right away. The host sharmini went above for all our requests and made our stay very special. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you very much for everything!

We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

Surangi's place is a wonderful spacious independent accomodation which is easy to find. It is on the first floor with personal entrance. there is a great deal of privacy, coziness and comfort. it is a remarkable place if you are travelling with your family. comes with all necessary amenities. Surangi is an excellent host. always cooperative and took great care during the stay. go for it.

We rented this place for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Place is very clean and all interior and furnitures were very comfortable. Situated in a very clam place perfect for long holiday with family

Our host couple Indira and Lakshman are very attentive and helpful people whose hospitality comes from the heart. We stayed for six weeks in their beautiful house, which is situated in a lovely garden on a hill in Sirimalwatta. Our flat with kitchen and two bedrooms also has a terrace where we always had our meals as a family of four. We liked it so much that we will be staying here again temporarily on our next visit to Sri Lanka in the autumn. Lakshman also helped my husband a lot with one of his local projects and arranged an appointment for him with the local governor.

The location was perfect for our needs. the Air-conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect and with windows open in the living room and kitchen it was comfortable we were there for about 17 days and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. but what really stood out and made our experience the best Airbnb stay was the host Lakmal and his family was so helpful, if we had questions or needs he was quick to respond and helpful as possible. he helped organize cooking lessons on Sri Lankan food at my wife's request. when we struggled to find a ride to the train station at 430 am for an early train twice he was able to organize a van for us with 1 days notice. Lakmal maybe the best host we have ever had. we plan to go back several more times to Sri Lanka and when we go we will only go when he has availability. It was good value and had the basics we needed a simple setup functional and tidy. I would highly recommend. my favorite thing was the instant hot water tankless system. great!

The kandy panorama house is beautiful! We stayed there only for one night as a bit of a layover, but it was a great place to stay. Some bedrooms feel like you're in the turret of a castle. Kids loved it ☺️ Chanaka was very responsive as well. The ride up the mountain is about as much fun as you can have in a tuk tuk. Strongly recommend using the recommended driver and tuk tuk (Manoj) as the engine capacity is more than normal 😝

We had a great stay at Makahouse. The photos don’t do it justice- the place is huge with breathtaking views and lush greenery around. The caretaker looked after us very well and the food was superb! The pool was very refreshing after a day of exploration in Kandy. The communication with the host was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place and stay myself with pleasure!

great location for sri lanka middle part sightseeing. house and swimming pool much bigger than on photos. was better than expected. safe and quiet. Spend really good time. dinner and breakfast possible.

This is a 147 year old bungalow, and the stay was simply fantastic. We loved everything about the house and the host was fantastic to stay awake late in the night to welcome us after a tiring day for us. I would highly recommend this place to others.

A feel of comfortably lived-in, authentic Sri-Lankan home - Felt like it used to feel when staying with family, years ago. Bed rooms were comfortable and linen was clean. We had plenty of space in the dinning, kitchen and living areas for our small group. A cool breeze blows into the house in the afternoon and early evening. The golden light of the setting sun filters through the front windows. Just sitting on a chair on the porch is tranquil. By far the best part, was the wonderfully warm and welcoming housekeeper, Ms. Pushpa who was there daily, who not only shopped for our groceries each morning fresh from market, but also prepared delicious Sri-Lankan style meals to our specifications daily. A memorable stay and hope to be back!

We had a really nice experience in this AirBnB. The owner and his brother were really kind and helpful! It’s even bigger than on the photos and has a nice view and very calm. You should know that there can be some insects like ants or mosquitos since it is directly surrounded by nature, which was no problem for us :)

Hashitha was a perfect host. Check in was quick and professional, but also personable. My host was in easy reach, if needed, but I was allowed my privacy. The whole experience was brilliantly enhanced, by being able to sit on the veranda and take in the fabulous gardens. All in all an experience to hold fond memories of.

The flat in Nuwara Eliya was perfect for what we needed: two nights in a clean and spacious apartment. The flat has everything you need to make you feel like home: comfy beds, TV with access to smart tv, great kitchen, fridge, etc. It’s also very close to the Gregory lake and an amazing cafe that we went to for the 2 mornings we were there: Ayurveda Coffee Shop. Communication with Jeni was fine too, although we never met, the arrangements to check in/out were easy and clear.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft, sie ist wunderschön und liegt am Fluss. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Außerdem ist sie sehr groß und sehr gut eingerichtet, es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine und sehr viele Utensilien für die Küche. Der Gastgeber und der Hausmeister sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und immer per Handy oder persönlich zu erreichen. Wir haben Tipps für eine Anreise mit dem Bus und weitere Aktivitäten erhalten. Fußläufig gibt es einen Supermarkt und Restaurant.
