A private ancient house in a port town

Relax in a small port town. We have self-renovated an old house built about 70 years ago. Spread out and relax in our little home in the port town. It is an old house, so there are steep stairs (with handrails) and steps.We would appreciate it if you could take care of small children and those with bad feet. Amenities: Towels (face and bath towels) Shampoo, condition and body soap. Frying pans, pots, knives, cutting boards, chopsticks, forks, spoons Plates, tea bowls, cups, mugs, kitchen scissors, bottle opener Appliance items: fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, Kettle, toaster, microwave, rice cooker * Because it is eco-friendly, we do not have disposable toothbrushes or shaving.Please buy it at the nearby convenience store if you need it or bring it with you. * There is no TV.There are a few books and there is internet, so please enjoy your time slowly.

Private BBQ with a view of the sea and lake 3 bedrooms (2 Western-style rooms, 1 Japanese-style room) There are 2 Western-style bedrooms and 3 Japanese-style rooms with futons, so the capacity is 5 people, but up to 7 people are allowed.Please message us if you'd like to use it for 6 or more people. There is a pizza machine. Recommended for cyclists on the islands of Shimanami Kaido. Very close to the popular sushi restaurant Akayoshi

100-year-old cozy town house, near rabbit island

Former traditional Japanese confectionery shop(Machiya house). Good access to the Tadanoumi port(about 10 minutes walk) and JR Tadanoumi station(2 minutes walk). You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.

Guest house tokonoma/A cozy classic Japanese house

Yuge-island is only a few hundred meters away from Innoshima-island, which Shimanami-Kaido passes. You will feel a very relaxed atmosphere from the moment when you step on this island. Guest house tokonoma is a small accommodation which is a renovated old Japanese style house. We have 3 Japanese style bed rooms, kitchen, and living room. You will sleep in Futon-mattress which has laid on brand new Tatami. 5minutes walk from super markets and restaurants.

"Log House" on Ikuchi Island

We have the second house in Ikuchi Island. You can stay there whenever we don't use it. Please check in between 3pm and 9pm. Please pick up this house key from the key case on the premises. There is no WIFI in this house. There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. There is a cafe nearby, but it closes at 5pm. There are no street lamps around the neighborhood. Please turn on the outdoor light when stepping out at night.

Enjoy your time in an old Japanese house, surrounded by the blue sea of Setouchi, the starry sky, and the mandarin orange fields, as if you had slipped through time.
