Among the latter we count convenient ferry, bus and water taxi transport links to Valletta and beyond, exquisite restaurant and bar outlets just across the creek, plus the numerous local establishments at hand. The apartment is furnished with a tasteful emphasis on the original Maltese features now rapidly disappearing throughout the island's noisier and busier tourist areas. The house is recently renovated to high standards, including BBQ and hot tub with stunning views of Grand Harbour and Valletta from the roof. The house has a fully equipped large modern kitchen, lounge area with custom sofa, a small office and two double rooms with en-suite. There are two TVs for Netflix (not terrestrial TV) and free wifi throughout the house. Recommended for a couple plus wanting a more cultural than party holiday.

My refurbished seafront first floor apartment facing the historical town of Senglea is situated in the victorious city of Birgu (Vittoriosa). Right into the spectacular Birgu's harbour creek this apartment enjoys 180 degrees unobstructed breath taking views. Valletta (World Heritage by Unesco) the capital city of Malta which has been also chosen as the City of Culture 2018 is reachable in only 15 minutes by ferry from my apartment. Ferry berths a few metres away from my place.

We loved our stay in this Birgu apartment. It was clean, fresh and had a cute balcony which we loved for evening drinks. Very comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The shower was great too!

A spacious rooftop terrace features two black reclining sun loungers positioned near a small white dining table. A view of surrounding rooftops and a bright blue sky with scattered clouds creates an inviting outdoor space for relaxation.

Great stay! Holidays for six people (6 boys between 24-29) in this house is the most comfort thing you can imagine! The owners wrote back so fast all the time and also let us stay in the house for another 8 more hours just because our flight was in the evening and they didn’t charge us anything for it. So overall it was one of the best airbnb experiences me and my friends ever had! Would love to come back soon! :)

It was my first experience of using air b n b and I must admit I was a little nervous however I needn't have worried. I couldn't fault our accommodation and host. Ivan's duplex apartment was ideal for us. On arrival, we were impressed by the high standard of the accommodation and Ivan had even left some cold drinks and snacks which were greatly appreciated. The roof terrace was great for idly watching the Maltese people enjoying their daily life and an absolute sun trap too. The standard of the accommodation and facilities were first rate. Throughout our visit, Ivan made suggestions on places to go and useful tips on how to get there. The location makes it the perfect base for a quiet relaxing break tucked away in an idyllic residential setting,whilst enabling you to enjoy the sites of the more well known areas by using the lical buses or Bolt cabs A truly fantastic holiday and a huge thank you to Ivan for helping to make it so.

+ Very nice apartment for a week-long stay for 2 senior couples. + 2 bedrooms with toilet and en-suite bathroom. + Nice harbor views. Because of the heat and street noise (light) the glass door (double glazed) of the small balcony must remain closed. + Well-equipped apartment but limited quantity. You have to more or less wash everything you use immediately (e.g. cups). + Free street parking without any problems. - Lack of instruction manuals for household appliances. - No food stores nearby. - No double glazing for the bedroom overlooking the street
