“Ed's apartment is located in the wonderfully atmospheric and heritage soaked city of Birgu opposite Valletta. Located on a quiet historic pedestrian street it ticked all our boxes for a week long authentic stay in Malta. We loved strolling the alleyways, the morning delivery of bread just outside the apartment, soaking up the atmosphere on the main square where locals gather to drink and chat in the many cafes. There is a great selection of small local stores open from early until late avoiding the treck to supermakets and putting money directly back into the local community economy - sustainable tourism at its best! The apartment was both comfortable and well equipped while retaining all the features of a period property. Ed was a most responsive host and his attention in providing guests with a memorable stay is second to none. Excellent transport links to Valletta - including the dgħajsa - traditional Maltese water taxis and the views from rooftop terrace and jacuzzi were delightful after a long day's sightseeing. 100% recommend for a unique Maltese experience!”

“We were stuck in Malta after our flight back to Germany was cancelled and we did not know when we would be able to go back. We were looking for a location close to town and the airport but also where we would feel good for the next couple of days as we did not have any idea how long we would have to stay there. Lucy was a great host, making sure we would feel at home. In the end we left erlier than expected and in a real rush, which was no problem. The place was really nice and close to restaurants. We can recommend the place, I would book it again. Thank you, Lucy”
Located in freshly renovated 400 years-old typical Maltese home, this boutique room comes with a private bathroom, smartTV with Netflix, high-speed internet & petite breakfast. The place is ideal for amazing holidays in Malta including morning run/walk in marina, exploring Valletta -a few minutes boat ride away- Romantic dinners or getting lost in charming & photogenic streets of the historical 3 cities.
“Dario is an excellent communicator and takes great pride in providing his guests with a clean and comfortable place to stay. He thinks of every detail and is a very honest and caring person. He has put a lot of thought into the renovation of his 400-year-old house. The inside is very quiet and comfortable. It is very modern inside and yet has a charm. I knew from his detailed communications prior to arriving that it would be a wonderful experience and I found it to be even better than expected. Staying in this old city was the best decision because it was only 15 minutes to the airport by ecabs and a five minute ferry ride to Valletta from the nearby ferry stop. Walking around the old city was wonderful and there is also a war museum located close to Dario's home. There is also the best jewelry store for sterling silver jewelry that I saw anywhere in Malta or Sicily. It is on the street out the upper exit from the war museum. Since we had to leave at 4 AM for our flight he provided us with a complete breakfast for us to go, that was so thoughtful. His English is excellent and he was always available to give tips for what to do, where to eat or anything that we needed help with. I recommend Darios please to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay that is a bit off the beaten path yet easy to get everywhere.”
