Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kalamata

Beautiful place, very spacious villa, great pool :) Dedicated game room where kids and not only kids find something for themselves. Patric is very kind and communication with him was smooth :) Everything was great and we can recommend this place for holiday :) Thank you Patrick :)

An amazing castle like home over a very large olive gorge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning scenery all around us. Home had all the amenities one would hope for and then some. Very large space for our family of 9. Pool and hot tub were a hit plus tons of games including foosball and ping ball. The upper deck was perfect for sunsets. And while we did not use they had this amazing wood fire BBQ and sitting area one could use. The location was great. We were basically on side of mountain in a secluded area but close enough to small villages and beaches. Lots of tavernas within 10 mins…4 tavernas within 1/4 mile (although 2 were closed due to slow season). Getting into Kalamata city center was about 25 mins and well worth it. Ann provided several suggestions on her Airbnb page. While there is taxi service i would highly recommend having your own vehicle Ann has a local host, Joanna, helping out and was super helpful and very responsive. Don’t hesitate to rent this place!

We had been travelling for 3 weeks and we arrived in Chrani, Peloponnese by bus very tired and looking for total relaxation for a good few days. We 100% achieved this. The view was stunning, the sea was flat like velvet and in the distance the beautiful mountains. The free umbrella’s & sun loungers on the beach a great add on & the peace and quiet was just what we needed. The sea is crystal clear & once in you don’t want to come out. The lady who cleaned was fabulous, changing sheets and towels/beach towels every 3 days, sweeping, changing bin bags & mopping everyday. She was truly a star. The other guests were people that have been coming to the same apartments for many years. Meeting friends they have met before. Very friendly, relaxed, chilled & highly recommend if you want to experience peace and quiet & beautiful scenery

Don’t hesitate to book, such a beautiful spot. The flat is elegant and even better than photos. The terrace looks out over the new town of Mystras and the stunning hill and ruins of old Mystras and around to Sparta. Easy to get there and visit sites by car. Old Mystras is fascinating ..visit early morning for the castle and go back later in the day to avoid the coach tours .. Sparta although modern is also well worth visiting ..especially restaurant En Hapti. To sit under the scented jasmine with great food . The flat is completely self contained, spacious enough for two couples and private, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Spyros is lovely and lives in the basement quietly and has a gorgeous dog called Roody. If in the area this is a truly magical place to stay. Thank you Spyros so much for sharing it.

Amazing house, super view from the balconies we took 1000 pictures! as clean as it could be! The host george and his relatives were super communicative and helpful! The location is nice but you have to own a car to tour for the beach or anywhere else! I definitely recommend it!

Anyone can create a stay for airbnb. The point is that few combine the excellent space with personal passion and Yannis is really one of them. The house was perfect and much better than the photos. It is the ideal place for families with children as the lawn-maintained outdoor space shows that Yannis has not left anything to chance. The space is level with no stairs and completely safe for children. The interior has no furniture with dangerous corners and the kitchen area is tall for the data of a child 3-4 years old so there is no access to plates glasses knives, etc., making the kitchen very safe. Yannis is friendly, communicative and completely discreet. He will help you and will gladly inform you and show a person who does not chore. Both he and his wife Lily have built a space that exceeds expectations and makes you feel lucky to have chosen him

Great place, good location, great communication.

A wonderful house, spacious, comfortable, well equiped, off street parking for one car and with several lovely patios to enjoy the outside. We felt at home and happy at once. Restaurants and very relaxed beaches at easy walking distance, the nearest only at 20 mtrs. Kalamata did not really appeal to us but the erea, especially the charming villages along the coast to the east certainly did! Excellent contact with host Vasia, her happy childhood memories are not hard to imagine. Highly recommended!

Anastasios's home was comfortable, with exquisite views, safe parking, a short drive to Gythio town and a range of sights and restaurants, but also walking distance to 2 great tavernas in the local village. His restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to do were excellent. We would definitely love to visit again.

Amazing home in a quiet and convenient location. This is a real home place- all of the special furnishings, art, and photos make this home more special. It is a walk to Gytheion and the beach in Mavrovouni Beach, about 30 minutes each way and obviously the way back is uphill- but a very nice walk (especially after eating a big meal). This area is so nice and peaceful. Avra provides anything you may need at the home- towels, cooking essentials, food, snacks and drinks! What a great place to stay!

Great and well-taken care apartment. Large balcony and view. Stauvroula’s is a great communicator and answers to questions right away! This was our four time staying in Stauvroula’s place.

Words can't describe this place and Dia our hostess. Before we got there, Dia went above and beyond to help us with our plans, both on our travel there and during our stay. From the minute we stepped in we felt right at home. Everything you need is there and the surroundings are simply magnificent. From the view from the apartment to the private beach below. It was everything we could ask for. A true paradise we would like to keep to ourselves for future trips.. and of course Dia who made our vacation even more enjoyable and made sure we have everything we need. Thank you Dia!

My best recommendations! A beautiful and charming place - wonderful pool, view and garten.

We had an amazing stay. We had the ground floor apartment of a three storey property where Stathis family resides- even though this was the case, we had our own privacy to the grounds and the pool. The family were extremely lovely and we hardly saw them. The property was spotless and the grounds were extremely beautiful and peaceful with the fruit and herb trees surrounding the property. The kids had a great time in the pool. We loved our stay and we loved Kalamata!

Eleni and her son Nikos were great hosts. Very kind and helpful. The accommodation is very pretty and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay a lot and had a peaceful and lovely holiday. Nearby are some very good restaurants and beautiful beaches. Couldn’t be better.

We enjoyed the beautiful house of Frasier very much. The house is clean and has everything you would want. The area is beautiful and quiet. The nearby village is nice, with friendly people and good food.

The place is kid-friendly, Bernadette provides some toys games, and movies for the kids, as well as great sea wheels, to enjoy within the pool. The pool is clean and access to it is not easy for toddlers so it is safe. The view is stunning. From one side you get to see the mountains while from the other side you can see the sea. The cabin is in a rural and secluded place so it's just your quiet and great nature. The hosts give self-produced olive oil that upgrades every meal and salad you make. In addition, there are grapes growing up in the yard you can pick and eat. Bernadette and Rod are super nice and friendly. Thank you for a great experience!

What a wonderful place with great hosts! The location is amazing with beautiful views of the bay. At night it was so peaceful that we could hear the wildlife. Fiona and Dimitris are lovely hosts, always responsive, and so helpful, which made us feel at home straight away. The local village is only 5mins by car, with lovely restaurants right at the beach. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
