Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kainuu

Our holiday in Lehtikerp was idyllic and we had a great time. It's like a hidden gem. The house, sauna building, and surrounding milieu were all unique, which brought a fabulous ambiance. Everything worked well, there was plenty of room for a larger group, and Kari was a great host. We can recommend Lehtikerppu to others in need of the Kainuu region as well. You won't go into this place with love!

Everything was working well, the place was very peaceful and well located in the heart of Paljakka.

We spent over a week at Andre's place and it's a true winter paradise! House is super cozy and warm. Kitchen has everything you may need. Beach sauna and hot tub were a heaven after a cold, snowy day outside. We also were very lucky to see the most bright, beautiful and strong aurora just above the house, that made our stay very special. Andre was very helpful and responsive ❤️

We had an incredible stay at Esko’s place! The location is absolutely stunning, right by the lake, offering breathtaking views and the perfect setting for relaxation. Esko recommended fishing, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, providing the most peaceful nights we’ve ever had—ideal for a good night’s sleep. The house itself is cozy and felt just like home. When we arrived, the house was already warm and welcoming, which we deeply appreciated. The location is also very convenient, with close proximity to larger cities like Rovaniemi, Oulu, and Kajaani. It’s also near ski resorts. Having sauna is amazing A short drive away, the town of Puolanka offers everything you might need. Additionally, there’s excellent connectivity in the area, so we had no issues accessing mobile internet during our stay. We highly recommend Esko’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. The place was exactly as described, we had a great time. It was nice to have a parking space for the cars right in the yard.

Meeri was very friendly and helpful. She made herself available in case I needed anything, and I felt very welcomed. The apartment was immaculately clean, and also pretty and comfortable. The flat had everything I needed, and it was a nice place to spend time in.

Great location, just renovated, so for example, the sauna and bathroom were on top of the last one. There was plenty of room for two adults. We searched for a peaceful ski resort for Christmas and New Year, and we got it.

Beautiful and modern cottage quite close to Vuokatti and sports activities there. Soili was really helpful and friendly in her communication. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Had a lovely time with my family at Pekka's listing, the villa was situated in a nice location and we had access to a nice lake. Definitely recommend this to anyone with a big family looking for a cosy space!

We felt very comfortable. In a beautiful place. In the city still in the greenery and by the river. The outdoor area with the great view could be even more cozy. The grill was not enough for me (small and too little heat). Still a great stay.

We really enjoyed the time here! The location of the house is perfect, beautifully quietly located on a lake but still not far away to drive to supermarkets or do activities by car. The house is lovingly furnished and there is everything you need for your stay. We particularly appreciated the hot tub and the sauna. It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back!
