Ocean View | AC & WIFI | Walk to Beach & Shopping

StephanieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a wonderful stay! The condo was in a lovely area with an ocean view and walking distance to a nice shopping center where we grabbed coffee each morning. The accommodations were beautiful and clean and equipped with everything we needed and more! The garage was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and sand toys for guests to enjoy. The bbq wasn’t working the day we tried it, but was quickly swapped out the following day for a brand new one. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

Halii Kai Waikoloa 2B-Golf Membership, Private

JodiRating, 5 stars42 months ago
We spent 8 nights here, and found it to be perfect for our family of five (our kids are two teenagers and an 11yo). The kitchen had everything we could need/want, and then some--and the same was true for the enertainment/activity supplies (board games, Roku, beach chairs and towels, snorkeling equipment, tennis rackets/balls and a basketball and even a couple scooters). The pool and hot tub were beautiful (although the low-key vibe of the pool rules was a bit disappointing for our 11yo--but we made up for it by purchasing a day pass for the nearby Hilton pool a couple days), and the bar and restaurant at the pool were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did our best to see the whole island, and this was a great home base for the week.
A view from a hilltop is framed by lush greenery, showcasing a glimpse of the ocean and a charming church steeple in the distance. The vibrant colors of tropical foliage contrast with the blue sky and sea.

A downtown Gem in the heart of Kona

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was perfect for our large group. Six bedrooms had ample space for everyone, and 4 bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get showers in very little time. Both kitchens had more than enough cookware and even some basic spices. Bathrooms had plenty of towels, toilet paper, and some basic toiletries. There were plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, swim masks, snorkel masks, coolers, and beach toys for our group to have fun at the beaches as well. Check in was easy with the key code on the door, which also made it easy for people in our large group to come and go independently. Host was friendly, accommodating, and easy to talk to. Good location. The younger adults on our group were able to go into town independently to enjoy Kona on their own. Reasonably priced, and would stay here again Our only criticism is that the air conditioners listed were just tower fans. We were ok for our stay in April, but a stay in the summer months without air conditioning would be problematic.
A serene view from the bedroom features the ocean and a vibrant sunset reflecting off the water. Light orange hues blend with the deep blue of the sea, framed by large windows that provide a direct sightline to the horizon.

We had an amazing stay at Chris and Nancy’s piece of paradise! The location was perfect, close to nearby beaches but also tucked away from the hustle of downtown Kona. The private lanai and view from the master bedroom are spectacular. The neighbors are also kind and welcoming which added to a great stay. We’re so grateful to Chris and Nancy for hosting us and would absolutely love to return in the future!

Waikoloa Colony Villas 403: AC and Shared Pool

AdrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful home, great location for a quiet vacation. There’s plenty of great relaxing beaches within a 20 minute radius. The home is fully equipped for beach days, has a stocked kitchen with pots and pans, a great top loading washer, front loading dryer and an awesome AC system that will keep you cool .There’s a few grocery stores around within 5-15 minutes, but if you’re looking to cook at home more there’s Safeway, Costco and Island Naturals about 40-45 minutes away that has more selection of foods. Planning ahead helps diminish the drives to the grocery store.
A spacious bedroom features a four-poster bed draped with light fabric, complemented by a patterned bedspread adorned with tropical motifs. Natural light filters through a nearby window, enhancing the vibrant green walls and illuminating a comfortable chair made of woven material.

Kona Hawaiian Shangri-La in a 3bd / 3 ba

BradRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fabulous tropical getaway! Wonderfully clean condo with great amenities. It was luxurious to have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a well stocked kitchen and beautiful lani! We enjoyed making many meals and mai tais and watching beautiful sunsets. Swam and hot tubed nearly every night and made use of the gym as well. Location is ideal for south Kona snorkeling access and we went to Two Step and Kahalu’u multiple times. So happy to have found Peter and Kathy’s place and would highly recommend it!
An outdoor dining area is visible under a covered patio, featuring a wooden table with four chairs. Lush greenery surrounds the space, complemented by a decorative statue at the front. Vibrant art pieces line the exterior wall, adding character to the entrance.

The Surfers Inn

AlvinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Access to restaurants, shops, Costco and Walmart from Ossian’s place takes only about 10 min. Being in high elevation with cool air, the ceiling fan is enough for our visit in May/June. It is also not too far from some coffee farms and served as a good hub to explore places up and down the west side of the island.

We had a great stay on the big island! The rental was clean, well supplied and in a great location. Super close to the local grocery store, Tommy Bahamas restaurant and just down the rode from a private beach club. The community pool and gym were really clean. The private beach club was an excellent place for my family to enjoy the beach, go snorkeling and have a meal. The weather was perfect! We would definitely recommend staying here :)

I couldn't be happier with my experience. The location was ideal making it easy for me to commute to and from the Waikoloa resort where the Native Hawaiian Convention was held. The apartment was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Hawaiian Getaway with Pool in Kailua-Kona

AnneRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed for 8 days in January and it was the best! This trip was with my family of 4 (10, 14, 44, 45) and my aging parents (72, 76). The accommodations were great! The full master on the main floor, was a must for us. We ate the majority of our meals in the unit and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking! The dining table is huge, outdoor seating is great, and the kitchen has little bar with seats so my mom and I could hang together while we were cooking. The location is fantastic as well. It's walkable to the Keauhou Shopping Center, which has a drugstore, grocery store, and restaurants! Their is also a free bus that runs a great route from the shopping center and runs along Ali'i drive to Target. We took this almost everyday, it was great, and a great way to avoid paying to park in downtown Kona. We had a great week and really enjoyed where we stayed. This was our first time to Kona and we felt the location was ideal for getting to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants.

Waikoloa Colony Villa 702 - Quiet 3BR Townhome

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Villa 702 was the perfect spot for our family vacay in Hawai’i. It’s nestled in the heart of the Waikoloa area a short walk to the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace and other nearby hotels and resorts. Traveling north and south was a breeze from this spot. Justin was a great host, who provided plenty of helpful tips and recommendations for our stay, including some local coffee beans for our enjoyment. The place was clean, spacious, and included a lot of amenities / equipment to use at the beach each day. Our two kiddos loved the bogey boards and snorkels. The beach chairs and umbrellas provided comfort and shade from the hot Hawaiian sun. Highly recommend this place for young families looking to visit Hawaii and the Waikoloa area in particular. Thanks for the thoughtful touches, Justin

Villa Lava at Mauna Lani Resort w/ Keyless Entry

Dan And JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at Villa Lava. The check in and check out process was easy. The unit was beautiful. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and there were lots of extras in the pantry. It came with everything you would need for a great day at the beach or pool. Janine was quick to respond to questions and she provided some great ideas for things to do and see in the area. All in all, I would rate it a 10 out of 10 and I look forward to a future visit.

Sweeping Ocean view home & minutes to town

I had a great stay at this place! The house is very nice, clean, and spacious, with a wide-open view that includes the coastline. The room is well-ventilated, which makes it quite cool at night. It even got a bit chilly, but the host was very responsible and thoughtfully brought us some extra blankets. There is plenty of parking available downstairs, which made it really convenient. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this place!

Private townhouse near Hawaii’s best beaches

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay on the big island. We loved getting up early to watch the sun rise with the view of Mauna Kea and watching the sunset from different nearby beaches. Making the day trip to Hilo was fun and a great way to see more of the island. Caroline was a gracious host and a great communicator. We appreciated all of the details of the condo, including all of the beach and kitchen supplies. The home is incredibly comfortable and well stocked, with extra toiletries and towels. My family also enjoyed daily trips to the pool/hot tub. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the big island.

♥︎PiH♥︎Makai Living★Light & Modern★Newly Renovated

IlyaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place is a gem! It’s in a quiet resort area, so you won’t have to deal with crowds. The community pool is right next door, and it’s usually empty, so you’ll have the whole place to yourself. The house is gorgeous, and everything is in perfect condition. There are a few minor things we didn’t love, though. The lanai is right next to the AC units, so it gets noisy when they turn on. There are also a lot of mosquitoes on the lanai and the balcony, so make sure you bring bug spray. The beach club is about a 10-minute drive, so it’s not within walking distance. And generally, there are only a couple of things you can reach by foot, so be prepared to drive everywhere. Overall, we had a great time!
