Condo vacation rentals in Kailua Bay

Wendy’s place was amazing for us. We loved watching the surfers in the morning while we drank our coffee. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great! One day we took an uber to the beach and used the chairs and umbrella. They were great! My husband is a larger man and fit nicely in their beach chairs. Another thing to note is there location. It’s walkable to town but down the road so you get that peace and quiet. We had an amazing time and would recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed staying at Larry's condo during our recent trip to Kona. The apartment was just as described...a very nice two bedroom apartment, fully furnished and very comfortable. We stayed there with another couple and had plenty of room. The condo is located within a few blocks walk of downtown Kona and only a few minutes drive from both the airport and Costco. There are numerous restaurants, shops and grocery stores very close by. The apartment was easy to find and check-in was simple due to Larry's excellent instructions. Larry provides beach towels, so we didn't have to worry about packing our own, and he also provided other beach equipment. Throughout our stay, Larry was very proactive about providing instructions, information about the condo, and a guidebook containing recommendations for local shops, activities and restaurants. He was also very responsive whenever we had questions. I would highly recommend staying in this condo to anyone visiting Kona!

Jan and Cami were very nice to deal with. Their condo is in an amazing location. They thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Very well organized space. It was clean and inviting.

Wonderfully located place that looked just like the photos. Couldn’t have been happier with the stay.

Nice stay if you’re in the Kona area. Quick walk to the waterfront and many restaurants. Check-in was also very easy. Only note is that there are a limited number of parking spots compared to the amount of apartments. You may need to find street parking if coming back late (which wasn’t hard at all)

Beautiful stay. Beautiful majestic views and conveniently located close to the airport and Kona activities. The place was clean and had everything one could need. The kitchen was useful for cooking our own meals and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. I also loved seeing the little animals in the neighbors yard next door. The place had extra towels, blankets and other supplies you may need that made this place a great stay. I highly recommend.

Our stay here was perfect. Location was amazing right by the beach at a peaceful community, great for viewing sunrise/sunset. The place was just as pictured, very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Amy's place was just the perfect condo for us. It had a great unobstructed view the ocean. and the sounds of the ocean along with the evening breeze wafting through the unit at night was heavenly. Having breakfast on the lanai was a treat each morning of our stay. Very private end unit on the second floor assured privacy with no one being able to look in or walk by. Quiet and away from the bustle of the tourist district. (except for one noisy Coqui frog in the bushes nearby). I chased it away enough to get it to stop for the evenings. A nearby market and Ali'i Gardens Marketplace with cool friendly people (plus great fish tacos!) is just a short walk away. Amy was attentive and provided good tips for our visit which was a great help. Will definitely visit again!

This 1 bedroom apartment has everything I needed for a long term stay: an equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, WiFi, cable/Roku TV, comfortable furnishings, a lanai with a view, and designated parking. The pool at the complex was excellent for daily swims. The ocean-front location of the complex provided beautiful sunset views.

Great place to stay in Kona! Just yards from shops and restaurants. Kitchen was perfect for meals at the condo and dining on the lanai. Location was close to great activities! Binder in the condo had great suggestions for what to do on the island. We picked a new adventure each day and had a blast! Will definitely stay again when we visit the big island!

We enjoyed our stay at Nico and Sarah's condo. It was a convenient location and had everything we needed. Nico and Sarah were responsive to our questions. I would stay here again.

It’s very convenient that this property had free AC. It was also nice that we were able to cook full breakfast every day. That helps save a lot of money. Also great location!

Jason’s condo is one of the nicest, most comfortable/convenient places that we’ve ever stayed. Centrally located with all of the amenities of home. We’re already talking about returning there sometime in the future. Jason is a 10+ communicator and just an all around great person. The condo was worth every penny that we paid for it!

We felt right at home in the condo and were sad to leave after 6 nights. The check-in instructions were clear, the dedicated parking spot was super convenient (we had a Kia Sportage and fit just fine), and the host’s guidebook was full of great local recommendations. The condo itself was spacious, clean, and private - perfect for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the lanai, where we could listen to the birds chirping in throughout the day and enjoy beautiful sunsets in the evening. While you can hear some street noise from the lanai, it wasn’t an issue for us. The location is great - just a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and shops on Ali’i Drive. We didn’t initially realize that the unit only has ceiling fans (with AC in the bedroom only), but the fresh air and fans kept us comfortable throughout our stay—it was around 75°F most days with occasional rain showers, and we really enjoyed the breeze. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful and well-located home base in Kona!

Great quiet location. Walkable to many restaurants. Short ten minute drive to the marina for dive trips. 15-30 minute drive to beautiful white sandy beaches on the North West side of the island. We loved being able to use the beach chairs, and umbrella for our beach days. Comfortable bed, it seemed that this unit was recently renovated. Clean, simple and convienent.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lesley's place. The bathroom and kitchen were all well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a short-long term stay. The sunset views from the balcony were also great.

My husband and I booked this Airbnb for hour wedding/ honeymoon. We stayed for 9 days and loved every minute of it. The Airbnb is in a great location it’s close to a lot or restaurants and beaches. The view is spectacular right in view of the beach. You can walk past the pool and sit right in-front of the ocean to watch the sunrise, sunset, or just enjoy the incredible view. There’s a lot of birds to watch as well it was beautiful listening and watching them. I think they also helped with bugs because this was the only location I didn’t get mosquito bites. We had no issues with people around us it’s a quiet area. We had every amenity needed plus some. There’s snorkeling gear, pool noodles, boogie boards, games, puzzles and more. Brian was extremely helpful and friendly he send us recommendations of things to do and place to eat at in the area. This trip will forever be in our memories.

bryce was very quick to respond to questions and concerns! the rental property is in a great location close to stores and restaurants. he also had a list of recommendations around the area and provided discount to those activities.

Very responsive, and kind! Loved my stay at this Airbnb, the weather wasn’t that great for my visit but the Airbnb made it better! View was great, looked just like the pictures!

Ina is a very informative and responsive host. She recommended some great local restaurants and places to hang out. The house is clean and the neighborhood is very peaceful. There is a beautiful view of the beach behind the apartment (2 minutes walk). The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and ingredients. However, we didn't have time to cook. One thing we found annoying was that the AC was portable and a bit noisy.

I booked this place for family, and they had so many nice things to say. it's second hand information to say that the condo was "fantastic" - but I personally also had great contact with the hosts setting up their stay! That's very important!- thank you Sharon and Sandra
