A lovely cottage in a quiet location, perfect for relaxing. The location is ideal: you sit quietly, but are still in several nice cities. The cottage is nicely maintained, tidy and equipped with every comfort. There are also toys available, which makes it extra nice for families with children. Communication with the host went smoothly and everything was arranged very flexibly. Just pay attention to the stairs when you come with small children. In short: a well-kept, cozy accommodation that we definitely recommend

A beautiful place with stunning views located right on the lake. It was incredibly beautiful, the sunsets were a dream. In the house you can find everything you need, great to relax and unwind🫶🏻

All in all a great place to stay, modern, nice ambiance, quiet, the garden with the furniture, the size, the jetty and the canal just great. In addition, the accommodation is very centrally located to take beautiful bike tours, the small town for small shopping right outside the door, what more do you need for an extended weekend. . .

This is a spacious home in a quiet location about 25 mins outside Amsterdam. It does provide nice access to to many towns south of the main city and a quiet home base to come back to after exploring the sites each day.

It was a perfect getaway. The house leaves nothing to be desired and you feel right at home. The best thing, however, is the location – all the cities worth seeing can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes by car. You can also quickly reach your destination by bike. In the immediate vicinity is also a beautiful lake! Nanette is a super host – she is always quick to reach, is courteous and helpful and has good tips for the area. We would rent the house again if we were drawn to the area 😀 Highly recommended!

We have had a wonderful stay. We had fun, sailing with the Valk, and we went to Leiden with the motor boat. The weather has been fantastic and the house was very confortable and cozy. We definitely recomend it!

This house felt very warm and welcoming — you can tell how much care the host put into every detail. Even the guest book was full of heartwarming messages. The location is beautiful, right by the river, and I often found myself sitting on a nearby bench, enjoying the peaceful view and doing absolutely nothing. A fun tip: when navigating, be aware that Heiligegeestlaan and Veerstraat are connected by a ferry. It’s a unique part of the experience, so just plan your arrival route accordingly (unless your car can drive on water, haha). The house is also well located — about 30 minutes to Amsterdam and roughly 45 minutes to Rotterdam. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!

We liked Brigitte's accommodation very much - small but very nice :) As a welcome, there was a small personal message and a surprise on the occasion of our anniversary. The location is good if you have a car with you (for the larger cities around it), you can walk to the beach in about 20 minutes but through beautiful dunes and you have it just a few steps away ;) We felt very comfortable as a couple and would be happy to recommend the apartment. Brigitte responds very quickly and kindly and has many recommendations for the area. A big thank you to Brigitte:)

The accommodation perfectly matches the photos and description. The house is equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen and coming by plane from Italy this was very much appreciated, we only had to buy food (the supermarket is a 5-minute walk away). The area is quiet, full of greenery, parking is free and right outside the house. Chris was very kind and always responded quickly, giving us useful information. Check-in was quick and there was a lot of flexibility on the time, even for check-out. Nieuw Vennep is a great starting point for many cities and towns, if you rent a car.

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

Lovely apartment, very spacious and clean, super nice and considerate host, great views of historic Leiden (including the windmill!), close by all the sights in historic Leiden, wonderful outside patio. Would definitely stay there again!

Had a fantastic stay at this apartment! Everything was just as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the area with shops nearby. Our host was responsive and helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay for a birthday girls trip. The location is exceptional, the view is stunning and the place is cosy with everything you need and a bit more 😉 Little dip in the sea in the morning, cacao session on the balcony, tanning through the afternoon and dinner for sunset. Lotje gave detailed instructions and was super clear. She gave us recommendations for restaurants (Tulum is extraordinary when you are a health nerd with an Interieur Design eye) We will definitely be back.

super nice apartment. really everything was present and clean. friendly hostesses and very hospitable. we were even allowed to check out a little later which suited us very well after the visit of a concert.😂 location was also top close to the water and beautiful surroundings. definitely recommended

I personally found it one of the nicest AirBNBs I've ever slept in. If you like vintage, you will appreciate the charm of the apartment. I would have liked to pack up the furniture directly and rebuild it at my home. :-) Everything was very clean and the beds totally comfortable. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, we were even allowed to check out later. Hartelijk thank you :-)

Pauline and Mèhdi are excellent hosts: their flat is beautiful and good value in a very convenient location on the canal, with a lovely view. They were very accommodating of my schedule and helpful when I was unwell. I highly recommend this place.

I loved staying at Mirjam‘s place! Mirjam is super friendly, was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Her apartment is safe, comfortable, has beautiful light, is quiet for good sleep, and she has the kitchen well supplied for cooking needs, including hand towels, condiments and dish and clothes washer detergent, which are all very handy. The neighborhood that the apartment is located in is very sweet and very close to the delightful historic area of Leiden. The supermarkets and an open market are walking distance. Efficient bus transportation is a short walk away and many go to and come from Leiden Centraal station. Leiden is a lovely city to visit and its energy is more calm than larger Amsterdam. I highly recommend Mirjam’s place!

The apartment is just as beautiful as in the pictures. We especially liked the spacious bathroom :), but overall the apartment is tastefully and cozily furnished. The location is quiet and close to the city center, we cycled to the beach. Margriet welcomed us lovingly and was very accommodating! We enjoyed it very much and we didn't miss anything. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable. Check-in was super easy and it was well described where we needed to go. From there we could easily go to the beach every day and get to the city. We felt at home:)
