Lesley is such a lovely host. She is welcoming, hospitable and so enthusiastic for our adventure. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

From booking to checkout, Nathalie was responsive. Very nice accommodation, well-equipped, very clean and tastefully decorated. Nathalie is very flexible for check-in and checkout. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We'd love to come back.

A great, cozy apartment with everything you need to feel comfortable quickly. It is very cozy, you look into the countryside, the stream rushes. Our two teenagers were also thrilled. Fabrizio is a very warm and open host with tips and good information. From our point of view, almost an insider tip if you are looking for nature and yet want to quickly go shopping by bus or stroll through Locarno.

Great apartment, spacious and beautifully designed. definitely recommended

There were four of us (two adults and two children) staying at Arne's for a week. The accommodation was spacious, so that the children also had enough space to play and do crafts. In addition, the accommodation is in a great location. We were quickly at the lake, at the bakery and at the train station. A good butcher is halfway to the lake and a pizzeria directly across from the property. We felt very comfortable and plan to come back 😊

We had such a wonderful stay. The property was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. The accommodation itself was beautiful, and the surrounding grounds were absolutely superb — peaceful, well-kept, and full of charm. It was especially perfect for the kids! They had a great time playing in the lovely play area and absolutely loved feeding the chickens each day — such a special touch. The pool was a big highlight too, with plenty of toys and inflatables to keep them entertained for hours. Our host was amazing — so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We felt really well looked after. This place is a gem, and we’d happily come back again. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful few days in Russel’s tastefully renovated barn. The house is very cosy, we felt at home right away. There are two bedrooms with double beds, each with a bathroom, and a convertible bed in the living room for kids. Kitchen is well stocked and we even received a nice bottle of wine and milk from the host. It was pretty warm during our stay so the kids even enjoyed the pool! It’s a perfect place to rest before and after exploring the area, without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of other more touristy villages, yet being close to everything.

We had a great stay in Nathalie’s place. It was well appointed with a very comfortable bed, fast internet and the best shower. Nathalie and her husband were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to provide us with lunch when we were caught out by a public holiday.

We were in Engen as a group of 7 adults and 7 kids (7-10 years) for three days. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and Christina and Thomas were great hosts. Particularly noteworthy are the garden with barbecue area and trampoline, the cozy forecourt with large table, the net on the first floor, as well as the great combination of privacy in the three separate apartments and communal kitchen. The schnapps tasting with Thomas was also extremely cozy and delicious😋. I'm sure we'll be back if we can!

Everything was very good. Thank you for everything. The beds were very comfortable.

The place was spotless and floor was clean, something important to us as we don’t like to wear shoes in the home. Grocery store just around the corner, pizza shop, restaurant, and a train station. We had a nice chat with the family which made it better. Once in a lifetime to stay in Switzerland and enjoying the country scenery.

Sibylle is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The apartment is great, everything is new and well equipped. The location is excellent, quiet, with a great view from the balcony. The apartment is close to the Katzenpfad, a very nice hike. We really enjoyed the days and would be happy to come back.

This place is a dream. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a quaint German town in the Black Forest, this is it. Look forward to long walks and beautiful surroundings. Bärbel is a lovely host. Her home is gorgeous and thoughtfully designed and built by her son, and she is a talented fabric artist in her own right. I’ve dreamed of coming to the Black Forest since I was a girl and this was beyond my imagination. Town is small and remote, but only 20 minutes away from shopping and restaurants. Can not recommend this place more.

Nicolas’ studio is a gem, located in a historic beautiful building but fully renovated with quality fixtures and top quality linen which made the place quite luxurious. The location is good with restaurants and shops around, the nearby bus station is around 450m away so quite convenient to commute to and from Geneva. Nicolas is a great host who made my stay comfortable including local recommendations, flexibility with the check in and out times. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a great weekend. The little house was beautifully rustic and a great, quiet hideaway from the busy Lago di Como. The view over the Lago di Lugano in the morning is breathtaking. The host was very friendly and gave us many tips for the region.

Beautiful studio and very kind host. No criticisms. Everything was available, even for the little kids.

Great host, very comfortable home & well equiped

The converted barn is very modern and extremely practical and we quickly felt at home. Everything was as described by Matéo, communication with the hosts was always helpful and always within a useful time. The house with the large windows offers a great view of the valley and the hot tub, which can be heated with wood, contributes to relaxation. The house is situated in a hamlet, away from the village, it is quiet and you are on your own. To shop and get to the restaurants, you need a private means of transportation. For us, it was an ideal starting point for motorcycle tours in the surrounding mountains, valleys and the French Alps. Thank you - we'd love to come back!

Great place with a great view! it is an old farm, but beautifully restored. If you are over 1.90 m (like me), be careful not to bump your head. Other than that, can surely recommend it.

We stopped at Vanessa's on our way to Italy and had a lovely stay. Vanessa responded super quickly to my inquiries and the place was super clean. We had our dog with us, which was absolutely no problem for Vanessa, but we would say that the accommodation is not optimal for dogs and small children, as the upper area is open. Otherwise, it was great.

Location of the place is beautiful and quiet. The garden is fantastic for sitting outside, grilling and relaxing

Accommodation matches the description, clean and tidy. Enjoyable self access. Thanks for allowing pets and trusting us. Small problem with the bathroom door but not serious, which will be repaired quickly I think.
