The house was even more beautiful than the photos. We had a very nice stay there. The host was very helpful and gave us everything we needed. He also gave us the number of a tuktuk driver near us for when we wanted to go to the town of Unawatuna or Galle Fort. Thank you for everything!

Thank you to Shafeena, Sahal and the team at Buona Vista Heights for providing one of the best holiday experiences we’ve ever had. The property, staff, surroundings far exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional - we ate out a couple of times but quickly realised that the best food was cooked by Sahal and his team at home. We experienced delicious Sri Lankan cuisine including chilli fresh crab. Communication was excellent from the moment i booked the property which was very re-assuring having never visited Sri Lanka. All our excursions were arranged through Sahal, including a day trip to Yala National park - this made it so easy for us to make the most of our time in Sri Lanka. The property is so peaceful and a sanctuary but only a short tuk tuk trip to the hustle of Unawatuna shops, bars, restaurants and beach. We were a group of friends travelling from Australia, Uk and Dubai and we have all agreed that we will return. Thanks again to all at Buona Vista

We had the most incredible stay!! Nuwan welcomed us and even brought us home made goodies on the second day as they were celebrating Tamil. The villa itself is stunning! The kitchen is fully equipped so could cook and there is a coffee machine too. Wifi was great! And only a short scooter drive (7mins!) into the main strip of Unawatuna with all the great cafes ands beaches. If we ever come back we will 1000% stay again!!!

This is a great place to stay, it might be tough for a few to get to because of the uphill climb. If you have a car and are experienced shouldn’t be an issue and they were warm enough to let me park in their garage as well which was before the actual stay. The water pressure could’ve been better but I never had any complaints. Dinujaya and his brother were always available to help with our request. Meals on demand, please reach out to them in prior and the rates are really affordable compared to Galle town. Nestled in the hills you will be away from the beaches and the usual crowd, ensure to carry essentials that you need while to get back to the stay after your day to day travel. The jacuzzi was really good and the property is definitely for all yourself. Thanks Dinu for being accommodative with our requests.

Stunning Galle Fort Villa

We had a lovely stay at Patricia’s house! Located within the fort, it is a stone’s throw from lovely restaurants as well as historic sites and the cricket ground. Patricia sent a really comprehensive list of recommendations before our stay, which were very helpful and Chandra was on hand to make us feel welcomed and looked after (including a cooked breakfast). There are three bedrooms at the property - two downstairs (two singles and a double) that are connected via a courtyard with a lovely plunge pool. The third bedroom is up a fairly steep set of stairs. Each bedroom has an en-suite. With two young children and two adults, we all opted to stay downstairs and it was plenty of space for us. Thank you for a great stay Patricia and Chandra!
