I visited with my parents to show them slow travel. They loved the experience. Definitely recommend to anyone who just wants to relax amid nature with no desire to do touristy sightseeing stuff. Kitchenware is complete. I suggest buy your own veggies/dairy/masala/grain etc and cook. No shops nearby. Bring them from Shogi main market (7 kms away). Local buses run every 2 hours. Also, they might arrange things for you as well (they were helpful to us!). Very quiet and peaceful, beautiful walk paths nearby, surrounded by birds. Reach out to Dr. Monica anytime for any questions/suggestions. Very helpful and responsive.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Santilla. The homestay is beautifully maintained with so much care by Lila Ma’am and Santhosh Sir. Every moment felt peaceful and special. A big thank you to Peki and Zai, who looked after us so well and kept everything spotless. Santhosh Sir was a fantastic host—our conversations were inspiring, and he even guided us partway back to Garkal, which was so thoughtful. Do note that the roads leading to the property are patchy and narrow, but once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. The place, the people, and the peaceful surroundings make it a perfect getaway. We’d love to return on our next vacation. The kids had a great time too. It felt like we stayed at a friend’s place .Thank you for a memorable experience!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The house has a charming colonial feel that adds to its unique character, while still being well-maintained and clean. The open space layout made it feel airy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Shimla. One of the highlights was the lovely garden—such a peaceful spot to enjoy morning tea. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The place was perfect for a family stay everything was easily accessible, from food and drinks to restaurants and local markets. It was wonderful staying at Amit's listing (Black Pearl Cottages) in Kufri. Amit is a responsible hot and very hospitable and welcoming. He communicated with me whenever I had any query wether it was before or during my stay. The property is very nice and located in a peaceful location. Their staf members Ayush and Madhav and other boys are really helpful and courteous. You feel relaxed and comfortable when you have such warm and welcoming people from the property including the Host. It's a must visit place with your friends, family or partner anytime of the year. Property is very well maintained, clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend to visit this beautiful property. Thank you Amit for being a wonderful Host.
