Our cute house with terrace and mezzanine is nestling under the magnificent Chateauneuf en Auxois. In 2 minutes you can walk along the Canal De Bourgogne taking in the wonderful views. Had a wonderful week at Valerie's! What a lovely, cozy house and everything was present, very nice shower and lovely bed and lovely bedding. Fireplace often used, was great. The garden is also a lovely place to sit. Also in the kitchen everything we needed. Great! Surroundings very quiet. Drive a little further for shops, restaurants etc, but no problem! Came for the rest.

The four of us had a great week in the orangery. Although the garden and surroundings are certainly even more beautiful in the summer, it was also very comfortable at the end of March. Beautiful and peaceful setting by the river. Great garden for the dogs plus kayak and paddle boards to explore the river for longer stays. Cecile accommodated an earlier check in which was very much appreciated. It's a shame we didn't have longer to explore the area.

At Valerie's, we felt welcome. It was a really good and authentic experience in the apartment in the old 19th century farmhouse. The apartment was spacious and we got our motorcycles parked in the large barn. We hadn't been able to buy groceries and everything was closed because of the holidays - yet Valerie managed to get something delicious for our dinner. A positive experience!
