I had a great experience during my stay! The unit was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained — a perfect home base for exploring the area. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with a mix of natural beauty and city charm. One of the highlights was the amazing view overlooking both the sea and the cityscape — truly breathtaking, especially at sunrise. There were plenty of things to do nearby, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and adventure. Highly recommended!

Lydia's place was fantastic! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. Check-in was a breeze and Lydia was a great host, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

I travel quite often for my business trip in Penang. Among all the homestay unit I’ve ever stayed in Straits Quay, This is the best unit so far! The unit is newly renovated, comfortable and clean! Highly recommended. Very helpful & responsive host as well. Will book again for my next trips!

Fast responsive host. Easy to find, quiet environment, had ample amenities to stay for 3 guests. Friendly guards. I felt the check in process is more straight forward, same with the check out process. Will definitely book with him again whenever I come to Butterworth in the future

Responsive host. Had a good stay with my family & pet puppy. Exterior of building needs fresh coat of paint but unit looks modern.

This apartment was well worth the price. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. The clothes dryer was a perk. The appliances were modern and well maintained. The A/C and fans kept us cool. The WiFi worked perfectly to keep us connected. The showers were hot and we slept peacefully in our cozy beds. We had a beautiful mountain view from our patio. Our building had direct access to the pool, but the apartment faced away from the pool which helped mute the noise. The beach was beautiful with lots of activities, music and restaurants. We were strategically close to other attractions in Batu Ferringhi and were able to make the 45 minute trip into Georgetown with ease. We often walked around the neighborhood to eat at various restaurants along the street or at neighboring resorts. We liked having options to buy items at the convenience store, local shops, or with Grab. Ady was very responsive and helpful!

Elaine’s place is a very comfortable and beautiful apartment! The place is very clean, I bring a kid and a baby and have nothing to worry because even below the bed everything is so spotless. The big window is making everything beautiful, when we came in a day, the view is very mesmerizing, and when we back home at night, the night view also spectacular. There is laundy, pool, small playground, mini mart, and food resto at the apartment. The area also very good, near famous hospitals and the check in was a breeze. Would love to stay here again if I’m back to Penang! Thanks Elaine and Patrick!

Overall good.Suitable for a family stay, but if there are many people, you need to communicate with the host in advance to ask for an extra blanket.We were a group of 4 people. 3 ladies stayed in 2 bedrooms respectively, and 1 man stayed in the living room sofa. However, there were no extra blankets. We only discovered this situation late at night on the first night, so one of us didn't have a blanket.But fortunately, it's not cold.The pool closes early, so you can't usually go swimming after eating.I hope this can be improved.Grab to George Town usually costs 13 and below.However, during peak periods or traffic jams, the price will double. If you are not in a hurry, you can wait a while and the price will return to normal.

My first stay in Penang. Jia's home is compact and extraordinary clean. Washing and drying machine is provided. Comparing with my second stay in another place, Jia's much better. But too bad when I want to extend it isn't available, so I have to move. Jia is also very fast response and everything is well provided. This building is new and the place is walkable to many local foods. Beds are good. I will definetely come back to Jia's place.

Eugene's place was clean and comfortable. Location was super and just facing the newly built Gurney Park. Easy to travel to from anywhere with no shortage of restaurants and coffeeshops around. Overall a great stay.

the location was in the heart of george town and a drivable distance to many cafes and places of interests nearby. checking in process was smooth and the accommodation itself was clean, cozy. the views from the living room overlooks the sea and mainland malaysia and we had a great stay at Jesslyn’s place.
