Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Jefferson County

This property was just as described. Very nice. Secluded with wooded surroundings. VERY quiet. Lots of room. Snacks, water, and a variety of Keurig pods were provided. The internet service was disrupted by a storm two days before arrival. Alice advised of the problem and offered cancellation but we decided to keep the reservation. While service was not fully restored during our stay, Alice refunded a portion of the fee - pleasant surprise. I would stay at this property again without hesitation.

Great location with plenty of room for my family. House was well maintained and stocked with all the extras (blankets, towels, pillows, air matress). Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. We did get to see several of the wild turkeys which the kids though were pretty cool.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Gardendale! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and incredibly spacious the house was. It’s honestly huge—plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and feel comfortable. The layout was perfect for our group, with multiple seating areas and a kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals together. Every room was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere throughout. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and it was a great location with easy access to Birmingham and surrounding areas. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, and they clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests have a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious getaway in the area!

Great little place for a visit to Birmingham. Nothing was ever too far away and the house had every necessity you might need on a trip. I would definitely consider staying here again if I was in the area.

It was a beautiful place with the tallest ceilings I've ever seen! It's in a really cute little shopping district with a coffee shop only a few blocks away. We really enjoyed our time here and will try to stay here again next time through Birmingham

Great studio! The place was well furnished for 2-3 people. The building itself is quiet, and I loved that there was a parking spot in the garage for us. The neighborhood felt safe, although the street was noisy (not surprising in a downtown area), so I’d recommend using a sound machine app or earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The studio was as described and Chris was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We had a great time in Birmingham and at his place! Would stay again.

The place is very accommodating. Has everything that you need like kitchen essentials, bathroom essentials, etc! He even offered yummy snacks. Charles offered the best hospitality. He is very responsive. The house was super clean, and free of clutter. The beds were comfortable, spacious rooms. Definitely worth every penny that we spent!

Beautiful space with lots to do in the vicinity. Amazing restaurants, walking distance from the night life and coffee shops. All in all one of the most cozy environments to be in

Carol’s place was clean and well appointed. She was very responsive and also accommodated late check in. There isn’t much around but it’s about a 15 minute easy walk to the convention center.

We came to Birmingham for a wedding. My husband, myself and our adult daughter. The place was perfect for us! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the coffee area with everything you could want! Very quiet property with a courtyard. Very little outside noise! Also walkable to nearby restaurants and shops!! Our host was proactive and prompt with information when we had a question. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

Joycelyn's place is perfect if you want a nice quite place that feels like home. We were there for a wedding and to have some fun exploring the city of Birmingham. This condo was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! Joycelyn was very responsive. Her place was very clean and had all of the items you need to enjoy a short weekend or a longer stay. The area that it is located in is beautiful! We will stay here again! A nicely kept cozy place that is efficient with the space and enough available natural lighting that makes the place feel more open than typical condo units. Convenient to drive to nearby restaurants, grocery shopping, and Oak Mountain State Park's north entrance. Quiet location even though there is a busy major, multi-lane road nearby. Definitely will keep this on the list for my next trip to Birmingham.
