Beautiful house, spacious, 4 beautiful spacious bedrooms including 2 with toilet and bathtubs. Large very well-equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean, from the cleaning to the linens... etc. Very nice garden, with pool (not usable when we were there). We couldn't see Marta in person. but always available and adorable on the phone. On the other hand, the address is complicated to find, or even false (to review the address on the RBNB site) and the longitude/latitude are not enough. Locate beforehand on GPS before arriving. I highly recommend this property

Isabelle was very welcoming and available. with a little special touch on arrival: a delicious Basque cake! The house is perfectly furnished with three bedrooms with closets, which is very convenient for storing clothes. The environment is extremely quiet, with a wood that allows you to have shade and coolness. And above all, not overlooked! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it in a second!

This was one of those properties where the photos don’t come near to doing it justice. The house is beautiful. Great outdoor spaces (covered and uncovered) with great views from the main area at the back. All bedrooms are spacious, private and very well appointed. The internal decor was fabulous; Francois has decorated every room differently and in a very eclectic style and it just works. It was such fun to be staying in the house! And the kitchen; how nice to have such a well equipped kitchen. We mostly ate in and it was such a joy to be able to cook great meals for us all. The situation is great - shopping and restaurants very near by, the sea a ten minute drive away and in the other direction you’re soon lost in the mountains and into Spain - perfect. Finally, Francois was an excellent host. Very friendly, helpful and responsive yet respected our privacy.

Sophie's house is extremely nice and we spent 2 weeks there. The plan is very well thought out (it's his job) and combined with the view of the outdoors, the feeling of space is real. The decoration in neutral tones is very successful and soothing, it is designed to operate in any season including winter which is very cozy in the house. In addition, it is very functional and daily maintenance is very easy. The environment is very quiet and no nuisance nearby. The situation in Arcangues offers the advantage of being able to enjoy multiple activities: countryside, sea, mountain. Biarritz is really very close. Finally, Sophie is a host with whom contact is very fluid and pleasant, she is attentive and looking for what could improve the stay. To summarize a great experience that we are delighted with.

This place is fabulous!! I hosted a group of 13 for a spiritual retreat for 5 nights & we were blown away. Corrine was amazing, so responsive & helpful! Even booking taxis for us on the final day :)

We had a lovely weekend with friends in this cozy and well-equipped cottage. Everything was very clean and functional. We were just surprised at first because it's not the owners themselves who manage the cottage but a concierge. This implies a little less flexibility in departure times in particular but it went very well. Karine is responsive and very professional.

We had an incredible time at the cozy home in Lezo! It was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was a lifesaver, always answering our questions right away. The grandkids had a blast with the toys and pool. We also loved the privacy, beautiful garden, and wooded area. The home was exactly as described. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it was even better than we had imagined!

This is a beautiful home and it was a perfect stay for our large family group. It’s a large home and not at all cluttered. It’s right by a small beach with multiple restaurants and an amazing playground. The drive to San Sebastián is ~15-25min depending on where you’re going. It’s also <1hr to Biarritz. Maria was very responsive.

This house was absolutely beautiful. It was close to the beach. It was spacious and everyone felt at right at home. The children's room was a hit with the kids.

Great house in a great location

We spent two weeks for our summer vacation with 8 people in James and Rebecca's house, and we had a simply fabulous two weeks. Bassussary is a perfect base for visiting the Basque Country, located 15 minutes from Biarritz, Bayonne, the most beautiful beaches of Bidart, Anglet, Biarritz, 30 minutes from St Jean de Luz, Espelette, Sare, and 45 minutes from the Spanish Basque Country and San Sebastian. James and Rebecca's house is perfect: it is spacious, very comfortable, perfectly equipped and very elegantly decorated, with a beautiful pool and a beautiful terrace overlooking the countryside and the village golf course. Finally, to make our stay even more enjoyable, a word for James and Rebecca who were extraordinary hosts, always available, extremely responsive to our every question or request, and giving us excellent advice that allowed us to enhance our stay. We had a pleasant stay with the family in the Basque country. Christelle is welcoming and the house is very well designed for our family stay - we recommend it!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and had the most beautiful time staying at this lovingly designed place. Both bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, the kitchen is very well equipped, there is a nice breakfast spot on the east side of the house and a nice terrace on the west side overlooking the pool and the surrounding fields up to the mountains. The pool is wonderful and very large and we spent a lot of time there in the shade of the large trees. A beautiful place, which we are very happy to recommend.

Liz and Dominic were incredibly helpful throughout our stay—truly lovely hosts. Their place is stunning, with breathtaking views and so much character. Although the pool wasn’t available at the time due to maintenance, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house is spacious and perfect for hosting a large group of friends or family. Even though Liz and Dominic live at the back of the house, we always felt like we had complete privacy—they were only around when we needed something. It really felt like a home away from home. We can only recommend their place !

The house is superb, better than in the photos! Our stay went very well. The house has all the amenities you need, it's very clean and well-decorated. We enjoyed the calm, the heated pool and the closed garden for our puppy. The place is perfect for visiting the Pyrenees. We wish we could have stayed longer!! We look forward to returning!
