We booked a room in Maria & Zicã’s beautiful house for our return trip from Greece. We arrived very late, around 21:00. Maria prepared dinner for us, including fresh out of the oven bread, and of course house wine! We felt so welcomed! The next day when we woke up, Maria invited us for breakfast before leaving, and we ended up having a coffee and a chat with both of them, we kind of forgot we have to leave :) We felt like home at Maria & Zicã’s house, once again thank you both very much!

we spent 1 night on our way back to Bulgaria. everything went well. Dani' s Mother was so kind and welcomed as even if we arrived late

If you are after Vratna Gates, the guesthouse in Vratna runned by Ljutica is a great place to stay. Ljutica and his family is very kind and helpful. In fact, it was our best accommodation during 3-week Serbia trip. Guesthouse is located near the center of Vratna village (it’s the only guesthouse there, difficult to miss), in 3.3 km from Vratna monastery. There are several rooms with shared bathroom. Everything is new, clean and nice. They make great breakfasts! We asked for vegetarian food and each of our three days we had different egg-based breakfasts with fresh vegetables, potatoes, etc. It was delicious (nearly best food we ate in Serbia)! There can be some problems with communication if you don’t speak Serbian (we were lucky that Oliver who speaks English was there on his vacation), but anyway all the family members are committed to do their best helping you. And if you are in Serbia, Vratna Gates is one of the most interesting nature phenomenon, definitely worth the visit! So we greatly recommend this place.

We rented the place in order to work for a few days. The apartment is great and has a good position in town, near parks and the Danube river. Dacian is a great guy, easy to communicatwle with and friendly. I recommend this place.
