Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

The house is located on the shore of Hornum Lake on private land along the lake shore. Possibility of swimming from a private beach and fishing from the lake shore as well as a campfire. There is a bathroom with toilet and sink, and showering takes place under the outdoor shower. Kitchen with 2 hotplates, refrigerator with freezer - but no oven. The lease is from 1 pm to 10 am the following day. There is a heat pump, soap, dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. - but remember to bring bed linen😀 and towels, and pets are welcome, just not on the furniture.

The area is suitable for activities in nature, and there are plenty of trails for both biking and hiking. The house was built in 1975, and the original style has been tried to preserve. There is no luxury here, but plenty of tranquility and opportunity for presence. Within driving distance of the house are Blokhus and Løkken, which offer plenty of cultural attractions and dining options. Dog welcome but only on the floor 😀

On starry nights, you can experience the starry sky from the bed through the studio windows in the roof. During the day, you can enjoy the special light that the location close to the sea and fjord casts over the landscape. On the ridge behind the house, there is the finest view of the Limfjord and the countryside behind. It is not far to the fjord, where there are good swimming conditions and the trip there is really beautiful.

The house is approximately 10 m² plus a terrace and includes a kitchenette, dining area, and a double bed, with the option of additional bedding. Underfloor heating ensures comfort all year round. Large outdoor area with fireplace, parking close by and access to primitive toilet and kitchen facilities about 100 meters from the cabin.

Sommerhuset ligger 700 meter fra strand og Vesterhavet, hvor I kan opleve de smukkeste solnedgange. I kan ofte se råvildt og fasaner morgen og aften ved huset. Til hyggelige aftener er der også en bålplads som kan benyttes. Vi har renoveret sommerhuset så næsten alt står nyt og flot
